"Brittany, you coming to the ballpark?" B-Craw asked me as I walked into the living room. "Yeah, I'll go. Let me go get dressed." Brandon gets a shocked look on his face when I say that. I grab an apple from the kitchen before walking to the guest room, which had become my room. My phone buzzes from the bed and I sigh as I see who it is.

Madison Kyle Bumgarner.

I ignore the call and continue to get dressed. Madison has been trying to call me and Im not answering any of his calls. I haven't been to the ballpark in forever because I don't want to see or talk to Madison. Hell, if the guys remember me it would be a miracle. I slide my knee brace on then slip on my converse before walking back out to the living room, where Brandon was waiting. "Ready to go?" I nod my head then we head out to our seperate cars

When we get to the ballpark, I slowly walk inside. All the guys just stare at me when they see me. Someone pulls me into a hug and I tense up, until I realize it was Buster. Soon, everyone is pulling me into a huge group hug. They all jump back when Bochy yells at them to get back to BP. I walk back into the dugout and watch BP from there, but I felt eyes on me the whole time.

The guys filed into the dugout and I sat in the corner, trying to stay out of the way. Someone starts to walk over to me, but Hunter Pence grabs him. "Madison, come on. You got to get ready for the game." Madison gives me one last glance before walking into the tunnel. I stand up and walk out of the dugout and over to the bullpen, where I would watch the game.

"Long time no see Brittany." Sergio says as he and Javy walk into the bullpen. I give them each a hug before we sit down. "Yeah, it's been 3 months since I've been here last." Tears fill my eyes as I think of what happened 3 months ago, when Madison and I split.

"Madison!" I exclaim as I walked out the door and into the backyard. He was throwing a baseball against the wall of the house, chips of the brick falling off. The ball continued to hit the brick and my blood was beginning to boil. "Madison Kyle Bumgarner!" I shout, but he continues to ignore me. I grab the baseball mid-throw and hold it in my hands. "Give me back the baseball!" He exclaims as he sees it in my hands. "Maybe when you quit ignoring me I will! You're treating me like shit right now, ignoring me and spending all your time out here throwing the damn baseball around." Tears start to fill my eyes. "Im gonna ask you one question Madison, and I want a yes or no answer." "Alright." "Do you care more about baseball than me?" I manage to whisper. He stays silent and my heart breaks. "I thought so Madison." I turn around and walk back into the house and up to our bedroom. Grabbing a suitcase from the closet, I begin to pack all my belongings. Once I fill the suitcase, I zip it and walk downstairs. Madison was sitting on the couch, his head in his hands. Walking out to my car, I place my suitcase in the trunk before walking back inside. He looked up when he heard me walk into the living room. "Please Bri, don't leave me." His voice cracks as he starts to cry. "Im sorry Madison." I slide the engagement ring off my left hand and sit it on the table in front of him. "You decided baseball was more important than our relationship. Now you can focus on baseball now that I will be out of the picture." I walk out the front door and sit in the drivers seat on my car. As soon as I shut the door, the tears fall down my face. My phone starts to ring and I see it's Madison. I ignore the call and call Brandon Crawford instead. Telling him the whole story, he tells me I can stay at his house. I get there and talk to Brandon for a while before going into the guest room and crying myself to sleep.

"Brittany!" Javy yells to snap me out of my thoughts. "Huh?" "You ok?" Sergio asks me. "Yeah, just thinking about what happened that day." Players were starting to fill the bullpen, so we knew the game would start soon.

The Giants ended up winning 3-2 over the Dodgers. I was walking out of the stadium when my phone buzzed in my pocket.

Yeah, Im here. Whats up?

Wait for me. I wanna talk to you.

To: Kersh22
Alright. Im by the statue out front.

I slip my phone back into my pocket and sit down on a nearby bench. Someone places their hands over my eyes and then they set their head on my shoulder. "Guess who?" They whisper in my ear. "Is it Clayton?" He moves his hands and I turn around to see Clayton standing there. I throw my arms around his neck as he wraps his arms around my waist. "I missed you Kersh! I haven't seen you in forever!" "I missed you too B."

Clayton is my best friend, but I rarely get to see him since LA is 6 hours away. Whenever the Dodgers play in San Fran or the Giants play in LA, Clayton and I always hang out together. "Come on B. Let's go have a movie marathon!" He grabs my hand and we begin the short walk to his hotel.

We get there and immediantely we get on Netflix. Deciding on Percy Jackson and The Sea of Monsters, I lau down on the bed. We got about halfway through the movie when my eyelids started to droop. Clayton was already asleep, his snoring filling the room. He had his arms wrapped around me, holding me close to him. I lay my head on his chest and soon Im asleep.
