We looked inside the dark, yet giant, crystal-filled room. Eggs. Eggs. Eggs. It was all eggs, all across the floor of the room. They were blue in color, and the floor, as well as some of the eggs, was covered in this yellow, gooey substance. They were huge eggs, too. It seems that they were... 300 feet tall at most.

"What..." Two looks on in awe and shock as they use their crystal to examine the room.

We were all shocked, too. But while Two, X, and I were in awe, Golf Ball seemed to be the most terrified.

"That's a lot of eggs. There has to be... hundreds of thousands of eggs... if not... at least a million..." I comment. "What could've laid these?"

...

We all looked at Golf Ball, who seemed to be the most terrified.

"Oh- oh my rubber- this is bad- like- really bad-" She said, panicking, looking around frantically at the eggs.

"How exactly is this terrible?" Two said, genuinely confused.

"Yeah, how?" I add on. "It's just a bunch of eggs."

"Just. A bunch. Of eggs? That's what you think it is!? JUST A BUNCH OF EGGS!?" Golf Ball shouted in our faces. "Do you realize HOW TERRIBLE THIS COULD BE!?"

We all just looked at each other... and shrugged. "I don't see the problem." I say. The others agreed with me.

Golf Ball facesoles herself, sighing deeply. "You all are idiots..."

...

Golf Ball then began to explain. "Listen to me, okay? These eggs are 300 feet tall. What do you think these things will hatch into?"

...

"Oh. That's- oh..." The face of realization washed over us. She's right... these are giant eggs. What will they hatch into?

"If I'm correct, there are roughly two hundred thousand eggs in there. And if they all hatch, they could have all these... giant monsters, which could leave this very meteor and disperse. We don't know what these things will do, but... I know one thing."

She turns to face toward the eggs.

"These things will grow into adults, and then they'll lay more eggs. Then those eggs will hatch, and then they'll grow, and then they'll lay even MORE eggs. These two hundred thousand could be two million, or maybe even twenty million in years. And since these things are 300 feet tall, these things will grow so massive their head will stick out of clouds! They'll be unstoppable! They'll consume, they'll conquer, they'll destroy... EVERYTHING! It'll be... THE END OF THE WORLD!"

She turns to face us, and looks on at the now visible horror on our faces. She then looks down and sighs.

"WE'RE LITERALLY LOOKING AT THE DAWN OF A NEW SPECIES AS WE SPEAK." She states, before shouting in our faces again. "IF WE DON'T DESTROY THESE EGGS FAST, THERE IS A 99.999% CHANCE EARTH IS FUNDAMENTALLY SCREWED!"

...

...

...

"Okay. Now that's really bad. Like... really bad." I said. "We- we have to stop them from hatching-"

"...but how..?"

...

...

...

"Blow them up!" I blurted out, lifting my hands up to zap the eggs, aiming at one of the giant, blue ovals.

"Wait!" X tried to stop me, but I already began to zap with all my strength... and the egg... just... deflected the zap, like a white laser against an aligned mirror.
