I spent most of my time in the kitchen. During that time, I was still wondering what that was and how in the world this hotel did not collapse. We were still weakened by the attack, but at least we were able to do more damage. Not a lot, though.

I was starting to wonder if we can stop this thing, or at the very least, deter it. Because I think that it won't be leaving us alone any time soon. Actually, what am I thinking? We're so small compared to it. How can we stop it? Well, if we leave it alone, it'll leave us alone, right?

I think this thing is the only thing we really have to worry about. Even if we can't defeat it, we can try to live alongside it. I don't think the others will agree with me, though.

While I was in the kitchen, pacing back and forth, thinking about what I should do, I heard a strange buzzing noise. I was about to show concern, but it was brief, so I decided I'd go and ask the others about the sound later. Maybe in a few minutes.

But then I heard it again. And again. And again. It was like it was filling up the sky above. It was very loud too.

But when I heard that, I think to myself, what could it be? A machine? A.. actually, I can't think of anything else. But whatever it is, it definitely doesn't sound normal. Could it be.. something else that came from the meteor? Okay, that's actually something concering. I should get to Two. Fast. I got up to leave the kitchen.

The first thing I see when I'm out of the kitchen is the contestants, still scared, and I can understand that, but I thought it was too late to ask. I was about to reach for the door handle and step outside before one of the contestants spoke out.

"Four! I don't think you should go out there!" One of them cried out to me. I don't know why, but wasnt able to tell who it was.

I turn back to the group simply asked why.

They didn't say anything. They just backed away, scared and silent. The buzzing noise grew louder as they continued to back away, pressing against the wall, then it completely stopped. Then I realized, they weren't looking at me, they were looking behind me.

I turn around just in time to see something fly up to and land on the window window.

It was a large creature that looked like some insect. It was almost the size of the window itself, slightly smaller than it, though. It looked weird; it looked like a cross between a bee, centipede, and a spider. It had four, large transparent wings, and it looked rather dull colored, a mix between black and brown.

I yelped in fright the moment I saw that bug and backed away from the window. I put my hands up, as if I were about to zap, even though I couldn't. What followed was a bit of awkward silence. The insect didn't do anything; it just stood there, walking slowly across the window, its transparent wings outspread.

After a few seconds, in order to break the awkward silence, I slowly went up to the window, and, with a bit of hesitation, tapped it. The moment I did, the bug immediately flew away, as if I scared it. The loud buzzing sound fading into the distance.

I was quite surprised. I scared it away just like that. But just because there's one doesn't mean there couldn't be more. I still need to tell Two about this.. if only I knew where they were.

I was about to ask the group, but then I heard the buzzing again. It started off quiet, but it slowly grew louder. I looked out the window, but there was nothing outside. Despite there being nothing outside, there was still buzzing.

I backed away, hands up, trying to brace for some surprise attack. I tried to signal the group behind me to go. It took them a few seconds, but they managed to understand my signal and head upstairs. Eventually, I was alone now.

Then I realized that the buzzing stopped.

.

..

...

It was quickly followed by something flying and crashing through the window, charging toward me and pinning me against the wall. It was that bug from before, attacking me. I began to scream and panic, trying to push the bug off of me as it hissed and squealed like some vassal of horror.

It took some strength, but I managed to get the bug off of me. I didn't know where else to go, so I decided my only safe place was the kitchen. I ran inside and closed the door just in time. It was bashing itself against the door, trying to break it down.

I tried to think of ideas on what to do to get out of this situation, but it wasn't long before the insect broke down the door, causing itself and the door to fall on top of me. I immediately attempted to push it off of me, panicking even more than before. I don't know how I was able to, but again, I managed to push it off of me. Not only that, but I was able to flip it upside down.

I was eventually cornered by the insect at the end of the kitchen corridor. With nowhere to go, despite recovery, it felt like I was going to die. The buzzing and squealing got louder as it closed in on me alarmingly fast. I turned around, hands up, and attempted it zap it, and despite my previous beliefs, I was able to zap it..

..but it was completely ineffective. It didn't even leave a scratch.

All it did was anger the insect even more.

Before I could process anything else, the insect once again pinned me against the dead end. I wasn't able to do anything else, as this time, it pinned my arms down, too. I was positive I was actually going to die this time.

As I closed my eyes and winced to brace the inveitable, I didn't feel the insect on me anymore. I open my eyes as I slid down to the ground to see that the insect was being slowly pulled away from me by some force.

Behind the insect was Two, clearly struggling to move the now panicking insect with their powers. Eventually, in the blink of an eye..

..the insect was completely gone.

I looked at Two, who was incredibly tired, looking as if he were about to pass out. I quickly got up and ran toward them to give them a hug, absolutely grateful and a bit surprised that they saved me.

"You.. you saved me." I said quietly.

Two stopped panting for a bit, still completely worn out. "I.. wasn't really expecting you to act like this. This isn't normally how you act." He responded with uncertainty.

"I know.. it's just that.. things are.. just.." I pause.

"Different?" Two completed my sentence. "I know."

I was about to speak, but I was interrupted by the sound of muffled buzzing high above us.

"What's that?" Two asked with concern.

I immediately ran out of the kitchen, and Two followed. We stepped outside the hotel to see many insects, very similar to the one that attacked me, flying above the hotel. As the insects flew, the sound of the buzzing made from their wings sounded like some broken down machine.

As I watched as the last one flew away into the distance, I slowly begin to wonder if that thing in the fog was the only thing we needed to worry about.
