About 6 minutes after what happened, what I mostly heard inside the hotel was a bunch of confused chattering among the contestants and some failed debuters. It was mainly about that thing that went by us a few minutes ago. There was still fog with a hint of brown there that made it near impossible to see. I, X and Two sort of managed to get a sliver of our powers back. While Two was able to teleport very short distances, X and I was only able to make a few white sparks.

Two told everyone to stay inside until the fog cleared. If something like that is out there, I might as well listen to them, even if it may take hours.

While I was inside, I went into the kitchen and sat in the corner, wondering what that thing was. Was it some alien from outer space? Was it a monster from some different dimension or a different planet? Was it something that lived in an alternate universe? Whatever it is, I may, if not, will never know.

I heard the door open, and X walked in, still scared as I was. He went over to me and sat down next to me, most likely for comfort. To be fair, I needed some comfort too.

"Hey," I said calmly. "Are.. are you okay?" I couldn't figure out what to say.

X looked down for a moment before asking. "Not good," He said quietly and a bit sadly. "I kind of.. need you right now."

"As in?"

"Just to calm myself down."

I became nervous. What do I say? I'm not good as a therapist.

"Oh, you don't need to say anything, I just need you here with me, thats all." He said, scooching a bit closer to me.

"Oh, uhm.. okay." I said.

We then just sat next to each other in silence. I was going back to thinking about what that thing was, and maybe think of some ways that I could stop it, but I felt something touch my hand. I looked over to see X holding my hand. He let go as soon as I noticed, a bit flustered.

X began to quietly panic. "Oh, I'm- I'm sorry- I was just-"

"It's okay." I said, trying to calm down X. "You can hold my hand, it kind of.. calms me down too."

X hesitated, then held my hand again. I was a bit flustered as well. I was about to zone out before I snapped out of it as the door slammed open. Two was there, surprised.

"Four! X! Come with me outside, you HAVE to come see this!" Two said, frightened.

Soon enough, X and I followed them outside. The fog was clearing up, but there was still a bunch of dust. When we went outside, what I saw completely blew my mind.

I was greeted with a massive hole in front of us, and it was easier to see, since it looked like we were pushed higher up the ground. Around it were several pillars that surronded the hole, and the hotel was on one of them. The hole was massive, so large that it seemed to be twice the size of a lake. I could barely see the other end, and it was harder to see due to the fog.

"Look at the size of this thing.. It's.. it's huge!" Two yelped in amazement.

"Woah." I mouthed. It was the only thing I could say. It was scary, but at the same time, it was oddly.. cool, to say the least.

Then I noticed the shape of the hole. It wasn't any normal hole, it was shaped like some three-toed foot, like a bird. Then the realization dawned on me; This wasn't a hole, this was a footprint. A footprint that.. thing made. It was even more clear since I could see another one far up ahead.

If these were footprints, and these footprints alone are this large, then we almost got squished. It was so close to the hotel, that if it were a little bit closer to the right, we would have been crushed, never to be recovered, and it wouldn't even notice.

It was that close.

That close.

Just knowing that just sent a chill down my spine. But then I looked deep into the hole, which seemed almost bottomless. If I looked closely, I could see something orange glowing alongside grey blocks. I wasn't able to go down there, I couldn't teleport yet.

"Do you see that? There's something in the middle of the hole." I acknowledge, pointing at the orange light.

There was silence for a few seconds. Two was about to attempt to bring down the pillar, but Lightning stopped him.

"I can go down there and check it out!" Lighting reassured.

Puffball was about to go with Lightning, but Two stopped her. "It's okay, don't worry." Two said calmly.

Lightning went down to the orange light, and stopped there. She floated around it for a few seconds before returning, faster than before.

"It's the Recovery Center! It got crushed!" Lightning yelled in shock. It was followed by a gasp from the group.

"The Recovery Center!?" Two said in surprise.

"It stepped on the Recovery Center." I mention.

There was silence again.

"What?" Two asked quietly.

"It stepped on the Recovery Center."

Two looked down onto the remains, then looked back. He paused, as if he was processing what I said.

"Oh my- I.. need a moment.."

Two went back into the hotel with his head bowed down. The others eventually followed. For me, I stayed outside.

X was the last one who entered, who looked at me and asked if I'm coming inside. I shook my head.

I was alone after that, sitting and dangling my legs off the cliff, looking at what I thought was just a big hole. I just sat, and stared at it in deep thought.

The very thought of something this big walking on the surface of the earth was just horrifying to me. How can something thing big even live here, let alone walk on it without any problems?

Is this.. even our Earth anymore?

.

..

...

I got back up and went back inside.

It may still be here, but not near us. It's gone, and for now, that's all that matters.
