Time already felt slow. But in that moment, it felt as if... time came to a halt.
Oh, gumdrops. Oh... it... it sees me. I couldn't believe this was actually happening. I was so small. Tiny. And this thing was large. Yet it still saw me, a blue speck of dust against a red floor.
It still saw me.
...
I began to shiver in fear. Its longing gaze already intimidated me more than anything, the purple pupils shifting ever so slightly. "Please..." I began to whimper. "...don't... don't kill me..."

..?
It just... stared. Nothing else. It just... stared. Heck, it doesn't even appear aggressive. It looks... curious? But why curious? It was so giant that I had to look all the way up. I couldn't see it fully in my line of sight. Why would it be curious of...
...me?
...
It then reaches a giant claw down. Making some sort of "huuuuh?" sound while doing so. I screamed, trying to get away. I was expecting to be squashed, but instead... I felt a pressing sensation, like something heavy was placed on me.
The next second, I was being lifted up in the air. I was in the claws of the giant now, having picked me up as well as having dug into the floor of the meteor.
The purple glow shines brighter. I was right infront of its face now. At this point I was too scared to think. It was examining, probably determining if I was good enough to eat.
But as time passed, I realized... it wasn't being aggressive at all. It was simply looking at me. It was just...
...curious.
It really is curious of me.
But why?
...
"Groooooo..?" It makes such a noise, like a coo. This one seemed to be more questioning.
"Put me down..." I begged once more. "I know you want to tear me apart, but can you let me live... just one more day..?"
...
"Grrrrrrrooaaaahh..." It growled loudly, a rumbling noise that shook my insides.
It sniffs me once, twice... before...
Its mouth opens.
"No, no, NO! NOOOOOO!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, flailing helplessly as I was slowly brought closer to the dark void that is it's maw. An awful, metallic stench slowly gets stronger and stronger as I get closer and closer to getting eaten.
"NOOOOOOOO! I DON'T WANT TO DIEEEEE-!" I wailed, tears falling down my eyes. At one point I really thought that this was the end. I was about to be eaten... oh gumdrops, I was about to die...
Soon everything gets even darker as I passed the sharp rows of pearly white teeth...
"I don't... want to die..." I whimpered, unable to accept the reality of the situation I was in. I didn't want to die. I was so scared.
I don't want to die.

...
"HEY!!!"
A familiar voice suddenly shouts from an unseen source. It actually startles the creature, and it causes both of us to look toward the direction of the voice...
