"Oh... my..."
Those vibrations struck fear inside my heart the moment I realized what was causing them. It didn't take me long to realize.
Oh no.
Oh no no no no no.
It's coming. It's coming... and it's walking in my direction. It's getting closer.
As the vibrations get more and more stronger, a feeling of impending doom grew inside of me. I knew what it was. And it was going right after me.
"Oh.. Oh no.. no.. please.. no, please.." I whimpered to myself. "Come on, please, teleport, please!"
Looking ahead, I could see the mist in the distance. No matter how much I move, I couldn't get away, and the mist only gets closer as the footsteps get more intense.
"Why can't I teleport?! Why can't I-" I began to whimper before a loud roar interrupted me, vibrations coming from every single side of my body. I look and see that the mist was much closer than before.
Tears fell from my eyes. I don't want to die... no one will know that I'm dead... X won't... they won't...
...
As if it were mocking my thoughts, the mist had completely covered me now.
...
I was stuck. I couldn't get away, magic or physical. I was lying on the shaky ground with a broken leg. I could try to crawl away, but it won't get me anywhere. There's nothing I can do. I'm going to die.
I'm going... I'm going to die... I'm going to die...
...
It's getting closer... the vibrations are growing stronger... and I can see the same messy silhouette in the fog, getting closer and closer. Seeing it up close, I can just see how massive it truly was, like a giant mountain coming toward me. I can only look on in horror as it only gets closer and closer...
...Until one of its feet was right above me.
The shadow of the bottom of its massive foot right above me, miles wide. And it was going to fall on top of me.
...
I could only scream and wince in fear. It was going to step on me. And once it does, I'd be dead. Dead forever, no one will even know that I'd die. This was how... it ends. There was no dodging this. This was inevitable. Even though I was horrified, I was only able to accept the fact that I would die.
...
And then... after a crash... it had... stepped on...
...
...
...
...
...
...
..?
"W- wha..? I'm..."
...
"I'm... I-I'm... alive?" I muttered.
I can still hear it moving, even after being stepped on. Hell, I was still breathing. I look to see that it's actually just... walking away as if it didn't even see me. What just... what just happened?
...
And then, as it continued to walk away as if nothing had ever happened, the messy silhouette disappearing into the mist, I realized why I was able to survive. I got stepped on...
..but not squashed.
Then, I look around me. Everything was still covered in mist, and I was on a pillar now, next to a cliff. The vibrations nearly knocked me off and almost made me fall, but I was able to adjust as they got weaker.
"Why am I on this- what-" I mumbled in confusion. I really was confused, I don't know how I managed to survive.
Then it struck me. I was able to see that... it didn't squish me...
...because I was right in between its toes.
There's... there's no way... how... how am I alive..? How did I... survive..?
...
"Ha... haha... haha..." I just laughed to myself, seeing how unbelievably lucky again. I may have been lucky before, but this was an even luckier moment.
So close to dying... staring death in the face... and walking out almost unscathed. But...
...
Oh dear.
I was stuck on the pillar now, and it looks like the mist won't disappear anytime soon. My broken leg is still bleeding and, well, broken, so I guess I won't be able to climb down well or even move.
I may have survived, but thay unbelievably lucky moment had left me stranded. Alone, with no one to help me. And it's not like my friends will just... pop pup out of nowhere to save me or whatever. I'd be stuck here. Stuck for a while, and I'd have to wait, wait, wait...
Wait for a long time.
...

...
...
Well... now that I am here... stuck on a pillar, stranded in mist...
