Messiah stepped beside Ezekiel and Vincent. When they noticed him with them their conversation stopped. "Damn its like that?" He asked looking them both over. Vincent scoffed.

"Its always going be like that. You see this nigga right?" Vincent looked into his eyes, "He's high. How the fuck is you good with that shit? Do you not remember what happened the last time he was high off his ass at some shit like this. These niggas is watching him."

"Your brother is a grown ass man. I tell him about that shit all the time. But that don't stop the nigga from fucking with coke." Messiah spoke through tight teeth. He stepped closer blocking out the eyes he could feel on them. "You so fucking worried, then stop worrying about rubbing Akbar the wrong way."

"My business with Akbar is just that." Vincent spat. He looked between Messiah and Ezekiel. "Matter fact."  A smirked formed on his face. "Why don't one of yall niggas ask that nigga why he just introduced himself to yall friends as the grandfather of all the niggas they looking at." Messiah and Ezekiel looked to each other.

"I know you ain't trying to say your bitch ass friend is our peoples." Ezekiel spoke looking Vincent over.

"Don't act like you don't see it. Bane look more like Akbar than of us light skin niggas. I mean we all know the judgement still out on you." Vincent looked at Messiah making him frown. Vincent laughed as he folded his arms. "Bane is our family."

"Who word we taking with that shit you speaking?"

"Mine." Vincent mugged Messiah this time. "I'm still family. Just because niggas don't want to put they freedom or safety out there for Akbar, don't change shit. I'm still yall family. We all on the same side of this shit. But Akbar got secrets like the rest of us. Apart of growing up is realizing that nigga got some shit with him."

"What the fuck does any of that matter?" Ezekiel scoffed. "So what if the nigga got around when he was young. Nigga he not a kid no more. He ain't going be here too much longer either. You going hold him accountable for the rest of his life?"

"Yes." Vincent snickered. "Yall don't want to see Akbar as a problem, but he is one. Do you even know what's brewing under your fucking nose? You checking in on your shit. Is you making sure his shit is still solid? Cause I'm hearing otherwise."

"What you mean?" Messiah asked folding his arms. He licked his lips before scanning the area. A pair of eyes met with his and he frowned. The woman quickly looked away. "We shouldn't even be talking about this shit here." He reminded his cousins looking to them both.

Vincent and Ezekiel came out of the bubble they had formed looking around the gala. "Stay." Ezekiel spoke to Vincent. The older brother looked to the younger one and shook his head.

"What difference is it going make if I stay now Ezekiel?" Vincent folded his arms. "You ain't going bring us together continuing that stupid ass shit you doing. I know you better at forgiving motherfuckers. That's you little brother. Me, I can't." He shrugged.
