Azul watched as Ezekiel looked over the candles and rose petals that led him to her. He stopped at the kitchen doorway leaning against it. She frowned as she looked over the blood on his face.

"Are you bleeding?" She asked as she moved closer.

"Your ex husband put his hands on you because of me." He spoke making her hands slowly drop to her sides. She stared into his eyes. "He was following after me for Will. Kendra's old boss, doing the same job she was about to do."

"I know that." She folded her arms. "Kendra was fucking him. She cried and told me about it. I left him for that." Azul explained with a frown. "Is that why you've been distant with me?"

He shrugged. "What other reason did you have to like me? We both know we was pissing that nigga off."

Azul laughed. "You might have been doing that. I wasn't. At first I was just curious because he wouldn't stop talking about you and your family. But you showing up. I knew that wasn't a coincidence. But here my stupid ass goes thinking it was something else for you."

"You don't want to know how much more it is for me." Ezekiel scoffed.

"How are you so sure of that? Because you had the wrong intentions with me? That doesn't mean I did." She touched her chest. "You did Ezekiel."

"Naeem." He corrected her. She looked into his eyes. "My name is Naeem Ezekiel Hasan."

Azul opened her mouth but shut it. She mugged him opening her mouth again, but nothing came out. Ezekiel stepped closer to her. She groaned as she pushed at him but he didn't move. "I." She groaned.

He laughed as he watched her struggle. "How is that fucking funny? You purposely hid your name away. And you didn't sign our marriage certificate with that name."

"Yes I did. Why would I give you a chance to run away?"

"That's exactly what you're doing with telling me about Kendra and my ex, Naeem." She placed her hands on her hips. "I'm in here cooking and doing all this just for you to try to break up with me."

"You cooked?" His eyebrow raised.

"I paid for the damn food." She pointed in his face. He laughed as he moved her hand down.

"I apologize. Continue on trying to get in a nigga's briefs that you once again don't know shit about." He licked his lips.

"You chose for things to be this way. How am I wrong for wanting to fuck the man I've been." She stopped and took a deep breath. "Fine have it your way Naeem. The food is all on the counter." She walked around him.

"Where you going?"

"Home because clearly the only reason I'm here is because of stupid ass Will."

"What?" Ezekiel frowned.
