"Bae I know your ass seen me calling you." Azul's eyes shot up from the magazine she was looking at. A frown formed on her face as Ezekiel smirked.
"That's you calling my damn store like that?" She spoke through her clenched teeth.
"Girl I ain't your damn son. Don't be talking to me like that. How else was I supposed to call you?" He asked as he leaned against the counter. Ezekiel plucked her boob making her smack his hand.
"Don't be touching me Ezekiel." Azul rolled her eyes as he laughed.
"I don't know what you saying my name like that for. You really think a nigga be lying to you." He shook his head. "You hungry?" His eyes moved to his phone as he looked something over.
Azul took that time to admire the fine man in front of her. She would be lying if she said that he was ugly. Ace had become a weird constant in her life. Whether he was annoying her, or being a sweetheart. She looked forward to his visits more than she should.
Especially when she was going through her divorce. She wasn't sure what it was about her that had Ezekiel coming back every day. She figured eventually he would stop, but he remained consistent.
Azul looked at his blonde hair sneaking through the back of his hat. He was wearing one of the many outfits she styled for him. At this point, she didn't even know why she still did that.
He never listened to her. She actually felt a way the first time she realized it. But she couldn't be too upset. He still made the outfits look good. But she knew that had nothing to do with the clothes she spent so much time on.
"Stop staring and pick what you want to eat man. A nigga starving and I don't got as much time."
"So whatchu come for if you don't have time?" Azul rolled her eyes. He looked her over and snickered.
"I want to eat."
"Some type of soul food." She filled in making him nod his head. Azul sat up on the counter as he walked around. Ezekiel moved between her legs and rubbed over them. She took the hat from his head placing it on her own.
"How I look?"
"Like a damn rent a cop." He joked making her laugh.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. "How has your day been?"
He shrugged. "Niggas getting on my nerves for real bae." Ezekiel shut the light off on his phone. "Naw." He backed up. "Don't try to be on a nigga. What's up with your ex husband?"
