Defne entered the living room of her family house and smirked, seeing her mother drinking a coffee and reading a fashion magazine. She sat next to her with an small triumphal smile dancing on her lips.
"What did you do?" Selma glanced at her daughter suspiciously.
"Oh, I just paid a little social visit to Serkan and his girlfriend." She answered, very pleased with herself, drawing her mother's curious gaze.
"How did you get through the security?" The woman asked. "I heard Aydan circled her estate with a small, private army, and no one can visit. They are getting worse in their heads there."
"Oh, she let me in by herself. She asked me to drop documents from the hospital." Defene grinned widely. "I asked for Serkan, but she pretended not to hear, but I knew he was back there. Rumor says he's on a mandatory leave or something. I couldn't find him in his room, so I went to look in a stable, and do you know what he did?"
"Enlighten me." Selma answered, a bit unpatient.
"He moved in the house the old Bolat built for himself for his last years and he brought that annoying doctor to live with him. And that girl is crazy, trust me." Defne snotred. "I don't know what is wrong with her, but after she saw me, she made a scene, screaming at Serkan and accusing him of cheating on her. And he screamed right back at her. I wonder if he had already cheated on her that she exploded like this. I don't see a future for them."
"Interesting." Selma nodded with a small amused smirk. "Well, Hatice called and is coming soon. She can take her daughter and set her back on her heels. It looks like that girl need some parenting."
"Oh, she does." Defne giggled, and both women shared a smile.

Eda sat on a blanket thrown over a terrace flooring, waiting for Serkan, who went to the kitchen and was going through the fridge looking for something for a dessert.
"There is only a half-eaten bag of nuts, one cookie, and a bottle of coffee liqueur." He announced, returning with the items and sitting next to Eda. "I don't know where you are taking all your chocolate and ice creams from, but there is nothing here."
"From your parents' pantry, of course." She giggled, biting half of the cookie Serkan held to her face. "Here there are only protein smoothies, and I'm sick of them."
"Yeah, me too." Serkan agreed with a grin, lying on his back. "We have to start making a grocery list from now on. I didn't know you were so bad at running a household. We can't even have a romantic evening because there is nothing to eat."
"Ha, ha, very funny." Eda rolled her eyes and joined him, resting her head comfortably on his shoulders. She looked at the stars and said, pointing at the sky. "You know, I've never did this before."
"What? Watching the stars?"
"Watching the stars with someone. I only did that alone." She tilted her head to look at Serkan's face as he observed her with a small smile. His eyes sparkled.
"I guess, I'm the one." He answered smugly, drawing a big smile from Eda. "We should do this more often."
"Yes, we should." She sighed and put her hand on Serkan's cheek, observing his eyes, which were reflecting the lights from the stars. She asked softly. "Are you feeling better?"
"Yes, I do." He nodded, taking Eda's hand and lacing their fingers. "I needed a reality check. You were right, it wasn't me. I wasn't feeling like myself either. It's about time to change it. I've got too stuck up in my head. It was good to let it out, even if I'm not proud of how I did it. Maybe you could withhold that report for at least a week? I know it's not too much time to make any real progress, but I'm sure my results and chances will be higher than now."
