Leslie's eyes widened in shock. "Our son?" he repeated, his voice trembling.
Venus nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Yes, Leslie. The child I claimed was Andrew's...he's ours."
Leslie's face contorted in anguish. "Why did you lie, Venus? Why did you deceive everyone?"
Venus's voice cracked. "Father's orders. He wanted to secure our claim to the throne. I couldn't defy him."
Leslie's expression softened, understanding etched on his face. "I know, Venus. I know."
As they shared a poignant glance, Andrew's voice interrupted, his tone laced with suspicion.
"Venus, what's going on? What secrets are you hiding?"
Venus's eyes darted between Leslie and Andrew, panic rising. "Nothing, Andrew. Just...memories."
But Andrew's gaze lingered, his mind racing with doubts. Had Venus deceived him all along?
Lily, observing the tense scene, stepped forward. "Andrew, perhaps we should focus on the present."
