Chapter 11: The Royal Wedding Disaster

The day of the royal wedding had finally arrived, but the atmosphere was tense. Prince Andrew, dressed in his finest attire, stood at the altar, his eyes scanning the crowd. Lady Lily, resplendent in her white gown, approached him, a mix of excitement and nerves on her face.

But just as the ceremony began, Prince Andrew's expression turned cold. "I refuse to marry you, Lily," he declared, his voice echoing through the hall.

Gasps and whispers erupted from the guests. Lady Lily's face turned pale.

"I've chosen another," Prince Andrew continued, his eyes locking onto Venus. "Venus, come forth."

Venus, dressed in a stunning red gown, emerged from the shadows, a triumphant smile on her face.

Chaos erupted as the guests realized the prince's betrayal. Lord Mash, seated in the front row, slumped forward, dead. Poisoned.

Rodale and Josephine's treasonous plan unfolded with brutal efficiency:

Lord Mash's guards were swiftly overpowered, and Lady Mash was dragged from her seat, screaming. "You'll pay for this treachery!" she spat before being silenced by a sword to the chest.

Morris, Lily's brother, charged forward, defending his family. He fought valiantly, but was outnumbered and outmatched. A sword thrust to the abdomen sent him crashing to the floor.

Lesley, Lily's twin brother , cowered in fear, pleading for mercy. But none was given. A cold-hearted soldier's blade ended his life, his small body crumpling to the ground.

The wedding hall became a scene of unspeakable carnage, the once-joyful celebration now a nightmarish slaughter.

In the midst of the chaos, Scarlet's son, hidden in the crowd, watched in horror. He knew he had to act.

With swift precision, he navigated the chaos, reaching Lily's side. "Come, my lady," he whispered, pulling her into the shadows.

As they escaped the carnage, Scarlet's son revealed his true identity. "I'm here to protect you, Lady Lily. My mother's loyalty was always to you."

Lily's eyes widened in shock, but she had no time to process. They had to flee, to survive.
