The day of the wedding arrived, and the kingdom was abuzz with excitement. But Lily had other plans.
As Andrew stood at the altar, Venus by his side, Lily emerged from the shadows. Her eyes blazed with fury, her hand grasping a dagger.
With a swift motion, she struck Andrew, the blade slicing through his sleeve. Blood stained his shirt, and Venus's screams pierced the air.
Chaos erupted as guests scrambled to flee. Rodale and Josephine's faces twisted in rage.
Andrew stumbled, clutching his arm. "Lily, what have you done?" he spat.
Venus's eyes flashed with venom. "You'll pay for this, Lily!"
But Lily stood tall, her voice ringing out. "This marriage will not happen. Not while I still breathe."
Scarlet's son appeared, his sword drawn. "We have allies," he declared. "And we will not let you proceed with this farce."
The wedding hall descended into pandemonium, the ceremony ruined. Andrew's fate, and that of the kingdom, hung precariously in the balance.
As the chaos intensified, a figure watched from the shadows – Bessie, Lily's childhood friend. Her eyes shone with tears, her heart heavy with foreboding.
The battle for the throne had begun, and only time would tell who would emerge victorious.
