Lily, disguised as "Ryker," stood guard outside Malakai's chambers, her eyes scanning the hallway for potential threats. She had been serving as the crown prince's bodyguard for weeks, earning Andrew's trust with her exceptional skills and loyalty.

One evening, as she escorted Malakai to the throne room, Andrew approached her. "Ryker, I must say, you're one of the most capable guards I've ever had. I'd like to...get to know you better."

Lily's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't anticipated Andrew's interest in her, especially not while she was disguised as a man. "I'm flattered, Your Majesty," she replied, trying to sound nonchalant. "But I'm just a humble guard, unworthy of your attention."

Andrew smiled, his eyes lingering on "Ryker's" face. "Nonsense, Ryker. I think we could have a...mutually beneficial relationship. Meet me in the gardens tonight, after the prince retires."

Lily's mind raced. She couldn't refuse Andrew's request without arousing suspicion, but she couldn't let him discover her true identity either. She nodded, trying to appear eager. "I'll be there, Your Majesty."

As the night wore on, Lily found herself in the gardens, her heart pounding in her chest. Andrew arrived, his eyes locked on hers with an unnerving intensity. "Ryker, I must admit, I find you intriguing. Your skill, your loyalty...and your beauty."

Lily's disguise was convincing, but she knew she couldn't keep up the charade forever. She needed to deflect Andrew's attention without raising suspicions. "You're too kind, Your Majesty. But I'm just a guard, sworn to protect the prince."

Andrew's smile faltered, but he didn't back down. "I see. Well, perhaps we can discuss...other matters, then. The security of the kingdom, perhaps?"

Lily nodded, relieved to steer the conversation toward safer topics. But as they walked through the gardens, she couldn't shake off the feeling that Andrew's interest in her went far beyond mere friendship...
