Serena awoke from her sleep with Taylor in her arms. She felt peaceful. She looked over at her alarm clock, checking the time as she had to get ready soon.

Taylor groaned sitting up. "What time is it?" she yawned. "8:30." Serena replied. "Gotta get ready soon," she added.

Once Taylor and Serena got ready for the day, they headed downstairs. Belly was down there eating a muffin.

"Taylor?" She questioned. "I was wondering where you disappeared too." Belly joked looking pointedly between the two. "Shut up." Taylor groaned, swatting at the girl.

"Did you guys get her approved to be your escort?" Belly asked. "Yeah, they managed to squeeze in a little lesson before the ball." Serena smiled.

"Good!" Belly smiled. "I can't wait to be your escort." Taylor winked spinning the taller girl. "Girls, it's time to go!" Laurel called. Belly drove all of them over. Belly and Serena hugged Taylor bye as they had to go get ready.

Serena walked to her station and began to apply her makeup, then she fixed up her hair into a fancy updo. Once she was done, she put on her simple white silk dress.

The girls had gone over last-minute dances, and then it was time for the ball.

The girls were waiting for their names to be called behind the curtain. Serena was right behind Belly. "I'm nervous." She commented, looking back at the girl.

"It will be okay." Serena assured, trying to ease the girls nerves. "You'll be great," she smiled.

The announcer called out Belly. Serena walked up to the last step and waved at Taylor from across the curtain. The announcer called out her.

As she walked to join arms with Taylor, she was announced. "Serena Fisher, daughter of Adam Fisher and Susannah Fisher, goes to Charter High School, and she raised 2,000 dollars for no kids go hungry."

Her and Taylor, arm in arm, walked down to the end of the stage and waited for their picture to be taken. They walked down as the other debs got announced.

Serena walked over to give her flowers to her mom. She walked back over to Taylor as they lined up.

"You look gorgeous, Jewel." Serena winked. "You look gorgeous too, Selena." Taylor joked. Serena playfully rolled her eyes.

"I love you in white." Taylor whispered, causing a blush to rise on the taller girls cheeks. "Thanks." She muttered.

Once everyone got announced, they started the dancing. Serena watched as Taylor danced with the escorts laughing.

She was glad the girl picked up on it easily. Once they were done dancing, Serena ran over to Taylor. "You looked so good. I'm glad you did this for me." Serena smiled.

"Yeah, you're lucky that I like you enough to do this." Taylor giggled. Serena gave the girl a kiss on the lips.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Jewel?" Serena asked. "Yes." Taylor whispered, leaning in to kiss her again. Serena smiled into the kiss. The dance was about to start, and Serena noticed Belly was alone.

"I'll be right back." She excused walking over to Belly. "Hey, where is Jere?" The Fisher girl asked. "I don't know." Belly stuttered out and began to panic. "Hey, it's okay." Serena comforted.

Conrad began to walk over to step in for Jeremiah. Serena winked at Belly as she walked back over to Taylor.

Serena tried her best not to mess up as she danced, smiling at Taylor. Serena looked over at Conrad and Belly and saw Jeremiah walk up to them. He looked over at her and signaled her to come over.

Serena grabbed Taylor's hand, leading her over. "Serena, Conrad, we need to talk; it's about mom. I found something out," Jeremiah spoke teary-eyed. Serena's stomach dropped.

"We'll talk about this later, okay?" Conrad spoke. "No, it's important." Jeremiah almost broke down. "It's okay." Conrad dismissed. "Conrad." Serena gave him a look.

"You already know, don't you?" Jeremiah accused. "You've known this whole fucking time and didn't tell me." Jeremiah spoke, bubbling up with rage.

"Jere." Conrad spoke before getting interrupted by Jeremiah's fist. "Jeremiah!" Serena yelled, bringing attention over to them.

Jeremiah was about to go in for more before Serena interrupted. "Stop." She spoke in her stern voice. "I knew too," she admitted, trying to take the heat off her twin.

"What." Jeremiah muttered, looking over at her heartbroken. "You too?" he whispered, a tear falling from his eye. Serena was about to apologize before their moms came running over.

"What is going on?" Susannah asked, demanding to know. "We know, mom. We all know." Serena spoke for them.

"Know what?" Belly asked. Susannah demanded they all go home, and she would explain there.

After the Conklins went upstairs, Susannah addressed her kids. "This isn't how I wanted you guys to find out." She muttered.

"You're going to do the trial, right, mom?" Jeremiah asked hopefully. "Uh no, honey. Im not. I can't. Chances are very slight, nonexistent really. "

"But mama, you have to try!" Serena cried out, sobbing into her hands. "This doesn't make any sense." Jeremiah cried. Conrad just sat there still faced.

"I know." Susannah wiped her tears. She looked towards her twins. "I should've known you too knew, but I didn't want to believe it." Serena and Conrad just looked down in shame.

Jeremiah went back to begging their mom as Serena cried into Conrad's shoulder. She couldn't lose her mom.

"Mom, can't you just try? for us, mom?" Conrad asked, voice broken. "Come here." Susannah directed holding all of her babies in her arms as they cried. "I'll do it." She whispered. Serena sobbed in relief.

That night they all sat around the table, moods somewhat lifted. Serena held her hand in Taylor's as they sat at the table together.

"I still can't believe you guys are dating." Steven laughed looking at the two girls. "Shut up, Steven." Taylor rolled her eyes. "Okay, is everyone ready?" Susannah called, coming out of the kitchen. "I want this to be the perfect dinner for our last night in the house." She smiled. It was the perfect last dinner.

That night, Serena laid in Taylor's arms, knowing she would have to leave her in the morning.
