The house was officially sold. Everyone stood around the kitchen deciding what to do next. Belly suggested throwing a party.

Everyone agreed wanting one last good night at the house. Serena sat in the kitchen with Steven as he made the Instagram account for the party.

She sat on the counter eating a muffin as Taylor walked in on the phone. The blonde girl came over, leaning on the counter next to her.

Serena looked over, seeing Milo on the other side of the phone. She rolled her eyes hopping off the counter heading to her room.

As soon as she walked in and shut the door, she looked around, seeing nothing. She had completely forgotten all her stuff was gone.

She sighed, sitting down and leaning against her wall. She only had a few moments of peace before someone knocked walking in.

"Hey." Taylor spoke, walking in. "Can I join you?" She asked, glancing at the spot next to Serena. "Yeah." Serena muttered, not really knowing why the girl was in her room.

"Are we good?" Taylor asked, sitting down next to the curly-haired girl. "Yeah, why wouldn't we be?" Serena questioned, looking over to the girl.

Serena just wanted to grab the girl and never let her go more than anything, but she knew she had already lost her.

"I don't know, I just don't want anything to be awkward, you know." Taylor muttered awkwardly. "Yeah, I know." Serena whispered, looking down.

"We're good." She smiled, looking into the girls eyes. She swore she saw Taylor look at her lips. She was debating kissing the girl before she heard. "Sea! Taylor!" Belly called from downstairs. The two girls broke eye contact heading downstairs.

The two girls went downstairs, finding Belly in the kitchen. "Hey, help me set up, please." Belly begged. The two girls nodded immediately, getting to work. Once they had set up the party, everyone went off to go get ready.

Serena decided to wear some of her mom's old clothes, putting some braids into her curly hair and some clips.

The party had started, and Serena was just standing in a corner, not knowing what to do. After a few minutes, she just decided to get hammered.

She went over to the drink table, downing a few shots. She was going to walk back to her corner when she accidentally bumped into someone.

"My bad." She hiccuped. "Hey, do you know where Taylor is?" The guy asked. Serena looked over, getting a good look at the guy, realizing who he was.

"Milo right?" Serena questioned. "Yeah, and you are?" Milo chuckled. Serena rolled her eyes; she hated him. "Serena," she introduced herself.

"Oh right, Serena." Milo nodded familiar with the name. "So you seen Taylor?" He asked again. "No, I haven't." Serena scoffed.

Milo huffed, walking away. Serena decided she still wasn't drunk enough so she went back to get more drinks.

After downing a few more shots, Serena made her way to the living room just as Party in the USA started to play. Serena laughed as the song played, remembering how many times Taylor made her do the dance with her.

She glanced around the room, her eyes landing on the girl. She walked over to her. "May I have this dance?" She chuckled, holding out her hand.

Taylor looked over at her. "Are you serious?" She giggled. "I mean, you only made me do this dance a million times; I have to put it to use." Serena winked.

Taylor smiled, grabbing her hand as she walked to the living room, starting to perform Taylor's routine. People crowded around cheering for them.

They finished up the routine. Serena is giggling with the shorter girl. She was actually having fun. Serena looked over to the girl, fighting off every urge to kiss her. She cupped her face as Taylor leaned into the touch.

"I really miss you." Serena drunkly whispered. Taylor was about to respond before she got cut off. "Taylor!" Milo yelled, walking forward. "Let's go." He demanded.

"No, im having fun." Taylor scoffed. "You need to go." Serena snarked towards the boy. "No, I don't think that's up to you." Milo scoffed, looking the girl up and down.

"Hey, can we go outside and cool off a moment, please?" Taylor asked, trying to pull Milo away. "She doesn't even want you here." Serena scoffed.

"Stop Serena." Taylor sighed. "She wants me everywhere all the time." Milo whispered. Serena saw red. She punched the boy in the face, feeling his nose crack. "Fuck." Milo shouted, grabbing his nose.

"Sea!" Belly and Jeremiah yelled while walking up. Belly pulled her back. "Are you okay?" Taylor asked the boy, holding his bleeding nose. "Let's go!" Milo demanded Taylor again. "I said back off, man." Serena scoffed, walking back up to him.

Milo was about to say something before Taylor cut him off. "Milo, stop you're embarrassing me." She whispered. Milo scoffed. "Man, fuck this, let's go. These people are too pedestrian for us anyways," he spoke.

"These people are my friends." Taylor defended. "Do you even know me at all?" She asked.

"What are you talking about? You're my girl." Milo scoffed. Serena recoiled, getting grossed out by his wording. She felt like she was about to throw up.

"What's my middle name?" Taylor questioned. That was easy; it was Madison."I- uh." Milo stuttered. "That's it, I'm done." Taylor scoffed, walking off.

"It's Madison." Serena spoke, walking off bumping shoulders with Milo as she went. She headed out to the beach in need of fresh air.

She hummed to herself as she walked across the shoreline. "Sea!" Taylor called out. Serena glanced over.

"Taylor!" She cheered, waving at the girl. "Come back inside; I don't want you to drown yourself." Taylor called out. "No, im fine!" Serena smiled. "Come join me!" She called out, holding out her hand.

Taylor, not wanting to leave her outside alone, decided to join her. She took her hand, walking along the beach with her.

"I'm sorry about what happened." Serena slurred. "It's okay." Taylor sighed. "No, I'm sorry about what happened with everything." Serena whispered.

Taylor stopped walking, turning to face the girl. "What do you mean?" She questioned. Serena, in her drunken haze, just decided to talk about it.

"When I broke up with you, I'm sorry I didn't-," she hiccuped. "I didn't want to." she confessed.

"Then why did you?" Taylor asked, tears pooling in her eyes. "I didn't want you to be stuck with my troubles. I wanted you to have fun and not be stuck worrying about me all the time. I couldn't be what you needed!" Serena cried out just deciding to get everything off her chest.

"But you knew! You knew I wanted to be there for you." Taylor cried. "Taylor." Serena whispered, cupping the girls faces.

"No Serena! No! I can't do this with you again. Not after I begged you to stay and you still left me! I told you I would stay with you through anything." She sobbed, pulling away from the girl.

"Why couldn't you just accept my love?" She asked. "Because I didn't deserve it." Serena cried out. "Serena." Taylor sighed.

"I still love you." Serena confessed. "No, Serena, I can't do this right now, especially not while you're drunk." Taylor scoffed, walking away.

Serena crumpled to her knees, sobbing as the tide hit her legs over and over.

Serena groaned as sunlight hit her eyes. She sat up, spitting some sand out of her mouth. She took in her surroundings.

She guessed she fell asleep on the beach trying to remember everything from last night. When it finally hit her, she wanted to go drown herself in the ocean.

"Fuck." She muttered to no one.
