Chloe heaved a sigh and put down her pen. The words came randomly, and she couldn't put them in the right order.

"Not everyone is a storyteller," she thought. Then she smiled. She knew the best there was, and she loved him with all her heart.

Ville knocked on her door.
" Come in, Beautiful ! I'm in the bedroom !", she shouted. She gathered up her papers.

"Be careful, honey. It could have been a thief. When I'm gone, please lock your front door!", he begged her.

She smiled. "You are right. I'll be careful."

Ville sat on her bed. His face darkened."I have no desire to leave you, sweetie.".

"The same. It hurts my heart, but I think it will pass quickly. I really hope so." She sighed. Both were afraid of the approaching departure, with six months of separation.

They didn't dare talk too much about it, Ville regretting having offered her to stay, and Chloe wondering how she was going to live without him.

" Honey... I hope you know how much I love you...". His eyes were watering as he avoided her gaze.

He saw a piece of paper overflowing from a pile left on her bed, with her handwriting on it.

"Did you write me a letter?" he asked, as he pointed at the paper.

She blushed and took out the paper, holding it close to her. "No, no...".

"Chloe, show me!" he chuckled.

She crumpled up the paper and headed for the garbage can. He chased after her, trying to pull the paper from her hands.

"Ville, please stop it", she said as she tried to tore it into pieces.

"Chloe, what is it ? Please, tell me !", Ville asked with puppy eyes.

"It's... I don't know what it is. I wrote it down but it doesn't make any sense."

"Can I have a look ? Honey ?", he said in a flirtatious tone.

"This is nonsense, Ville. Nothing important," she replied, handing him the sheet. She hid her face in her hands.

He took the paper and began to read.

(C / slam)
You sing your beautiful songs / sharing them with the world
You keep going on / singing your sweet and powerful words

(C / sing)
I know words can kill / Yours are meant to heal
Sometimes you get lost / even when our paths cross

(Together )

From Poseidon's temple to Gaia's Earth

Chorus 1
Tell me why you always run away
Across the ocean (C+V)
What drives you so far on the way
Across the ocean (C+V)
Across the ocean (C+V)
Of my tears

(V)
From the treetops to the four corners of the Earth / I hope it's worth
It to cause you pain and scars / Music was first
Then you came into my world /Give me some more time
I don't know how it all works / but honey don't say goodbye.

(Together)
I'm not afraid of losing myself in you
I'm so afraid to lose you
Oh oh my love I've fallen for you

From Poseidon's temple to Gaia's Earth (together)

Chorus 2 ( V)
I can tell I'll never run away
Across the ocean (+C)
Fate and life have put you on my way
Across the ocean(+C)
Across the ocean (+C)
Of ours fears.

Chorus 3 ( together)
From Poseidon's temple to Gaia's Earth
Tell me you'll never run away
Across the ocean
Tell me that fate put you on my way
Across the ocean
Across the ocean
Tell me that fate put you on my way
Across the ocean
Of ours dreams. (*)

Ville felt a pang in his heart. When he looked up, she had disappeared from the room. He found her on the sofa, her head in her hands. She heard his footsteps and, without looking at him, repeated: "It's nothing but nonsense, Ville. Don't take it seriously. Of the two of us, you're the storyteller!"

"And what does this story tell me, honey? Talk to me, Chlo. Please talk to me."

He sat down on a cushion at her feet and took her hands in his. He saw tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I'm afraid... You leave in a few days. I won't be with you, with HIM, my family, for six months. I'll miss you..."

"You'll be missed too, honey. Your words are so sweet and I feel the same. I'm not running away from you. I wish things were different. I wish I never had to go away from you again."

"The story, on the paper... A duet. I miss singing with you too. Having our own song. Having a reason to follow you on tour... Rather than having a reason to stay. I don't know if you understand", she added.

He nodded.

"Your heart is beautiful when you put it on paper. Your writing, the lyrics, are interesting. When I get back, we'll look at it together, shall we?", he offered.

"We can redo everything from scratch, it's not important. I needed to... Write it down as a therapy", she weakly smiled.

"It's so hard to leave you here," he sighed.

He looked at her. She was everything to him. He felt it was the right time. He reached into his pocket, took out the little box and got down on one knee.

She looked at him and couldn't believe her eyes.
"Ville, what the..."

"Chloe. Honey. I know we've only just found each other again and we'll both still have obstacles to face. I'm as scared of the future as you are, which is why I' ve never talked about plans with you. But through it all, I know we'll always find each other. I know my feelings for you and I know yours. You're the one who makes my world a better place. So, will you entwine your life to mine? "

She took a moment to answer him.

"Ville, you are the one I will love until my last breath. Like you told me, we just found each other again. I thought I had lost you for good, for months. Now you're going on tour. I'd like... Can I hope that you ask me again when you get back? I can promise you that when you do, my answer will be yes. A big yes, you and me for life. "

Ville's heart sank. "After the tour... Will you really say yes?" he asked fervently.

"It's my promise", she smiled as she kissed him. "I love you, Ville. And thanks for... Your proposal. I think I needed that... To hear your words, before you go. "
