"Tum is shaadi se khush toh ho na Abhira?"

Abhira looked at him shockingly. She started trembling a little unknown to Armaan. She parted her lips to say something but words couldn't form.

She opened her mouth, but her voice faltered. "M...mai... khush hoon, Armaan," she managed to say.

Armaan's eyes softened, but there was a hint of concern behind them.

He gently took her hand, careful not to touch the mehndi. "Abhira... tumhe yeh sab zabardasti toh nahi lag raha?" he asked.

Abhira bit her lip, her throat dry. She couldn't bring herself to meet his eyes, knowing the turmoil inside her would betray her.

"Nahi... zabardasti nahi." she stammered, her hands trembling slightly. "Sab... sab theek hai."

But the way her voice wavered, the uncertainty in her tone, and the quick glances she threw toward Rohit went unnoticed by Armaan. He sighed softly, his thumb brushing her knuckles in a gesture of reassurance.

"Agar kabhi tumhe kuch kehna ho, main hamesha yahan hoon." he said gently.

Abhira nodded weakly, her eyes once again drifting to where Rohit sat, his gaze still piercing through her.

She felt trapped between the life she was stepping into with Armaan and the remnants of her past with Rohit that she hadn't fully let go of.

Tears threatened to spill over, but she blinked them back, forcing a faint smile.

"Mai theek hoon, Armaan... bas thoda mehndi ke baad thak gayi hoon." she whispered.

Armaan smiled at her.

"Tumhe aur kuch khane ke liye chahiye? Agar chahiye toh mai le kar aata hu." Armaan asked.

"Nahi, I am fine. Thank you." Abhira said.

"Mam, aapki mehandi ho gayi hai." The mehandi artist said as she kept the cone back on the plate.

Abhira looked at her and than at her mehandi. She smiled and looked back at her.

"Thank you so much. Bohot beautiful mehandi hai." Abhira said with a smile.

The mehandi artist smiled and stood up from there. They left front there as the Poddar's and the Birla's came towards Abhimaan.

"Wow bhabhi! Bohot pretty mehandi hai aapki." Kiara said while admiring Abhira's mehandi.

"Chalo Armaan, Abhira ki mehandi mein apna naam dhundho." Vidya said moving towards them.

"Iski kya jarurat hai maa. Likha hoga kahi par." Armaan said.

"Jii nahi. Yeh bhi ek rasam ka hi hissa hai. Ab bina kisi baat ke chup chap se Abhira ki mehandi mein apna naam dhundho." Vidya said.

Armaan nodded, a playful smile tugging at his lips as he gently took Abhira's hand. His eyes scanned her intricate mehndi, carefully searching for his name hidden within the delicate designs.

Aaryan and Kiara stood nearby, excitedly watching the scene unfold.

"Come on, bhaiya! Aap toh master ho naam dhoondhne mein!" Aaryan cheered, laughing as Armaan's brow furrowed in concentration.

Kiara chimed in, "Bhabhi ne bohot ache se chhupa diya lagta hai!"

Minutes passed, and Armaan still couldn't spot his name.

Abhira giggled softly, her earlier worries momentarily fading away.

"Shayad aaj naam nahi milega." she teased him unknowingly.
