"I'm late for work at The Wreck place, aren't I?" Jimmy asked Topper out of the blue in attempt to distract himself from the way Rafe was making him feel in that moment.
Topper looked up from his conversation with Kelce, a puzzled expression on his face, surprised at Jimmy's sudden mention of working when he was a Kook, "What?" he inquired, the unexpected question catching him off guard.
"Gramps passed on a text to me saying Mama got me a job there since I 'can't work for Kooks when I am one' and she won't let me on the Pogues terf or whatever" Jimmy explained to Topper who raised an eyebrow at Jimmy's explanation, "Right" he said, still somewhat baffled by the random job talk, "So, our mom arranged a job for you at The Wreck?"
"Yeah, and I just got here, so help me out, Big Brother" Jimmy states making Topper smile at Jimmy's plea for help but also couldn't resist the urge to tease his little brother, "You really expect me to save your ass when you're late for your first day on the job?" he retorted, a hint of mock annoyance in his voice.
"Yeah, unless you want me to ask Kelce or Rafe instead?" Jimmy asked rhetorically with a small smirk as he watched Topper's eyes widened at the mention of his friends and the thought of either guy potentially getting any closer to his baby brother didn't sit well with him. "Hell no, Jim" he stated, his protective older brother instincts kicking in, "I got you, dumbass. and we'll sit at one of the tables to watch you."

As they eventually entered The Wreck, Topper quickly found a table that would give him a perfect view of Jimmy at the counter, both to keep an eye on him and to enjoy the impending mayhem. Topper and Kelce exchanging glances as they settled in, eager to see how Jimmy would handle his new job.
