JJ watches as Rafe guides the identical blond away, a pang of longing in his eyes and the urge to call Jimmy back was just moments away from being spoken, yet they don't come. He can't help but feel a mix of protectiveness and a hint of possessiveness.
John B notices JJ's expression and puts a hand on his shoulder, "You alright, man?" he asks, noticing the on going dilemma the younger blond was appearing to have. JJ takes a moment to compose himself before responding, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just.. a bit overwhelmed, I guess. It's a lot to process, you know? Suddenly I'm a big brother of a twin.. weird shit"
John B nods, understanding the complexity of JJ's feelings, even if the blond was one to hold back on his real emotions most of the time, "Yeah, I get it. It's a lot to take in, especially on top of everything else we've got going on. But you're handling it well, man. You've been a great brother to Jimmy so far."
JJ huffs, a mixture of gratitude and disbelief in his voice, "Yeah, well, I'm trying my best. It's just.. I've got the sudden responsibility of looking out for him, making sure he's safe and all that. And on top of that, he's drawn all the damn attention on himself without even trying, especially since he's all Buddy with Rafe freaking Cameron of all people."
John B chuckles at JJ's protective rant, "Yeah, he's got that magnetic pull, that's for sure. And being all buddy with Rafe, that's definitely something. But you know your brother can handle himself, right? He's got that feisty, confident attitude. Just like you."
