Rafe smiled as he felt Jimmy relax, the younger boy now fully asleep over him, and decided to wrap both arms around him to hold him more securely, before carefully laying them both down on the bed.
He moved Jimmy so that he was resting partially on top of him, his head on Rafe's chest now as he ran his hand through the other's hair, his touch light and tender, trying not to awaken him.
His mind starting to run to various places. What if his Dad saw how they were laying? Why was he caring towards this Kook that was identical to JJ Maybank, who was a Pogue? Why was he feeling like this? All his thoughts surrounded the blond boy who was sleeping happily on him, not a care in the world as he slept, Rafe wished he could have peace when he slept-
But things never went his way..
Rafe stayed there for a while holding the boy in his arms and listening to his quiet breathing. He couldn't deny that the blond looked beautiful when he slept, all the tension and worry had drained from his face, leaving him looking so carefree.
