Rafe raised an eyebrow at the boy's question, surprised by it, "That's what you got out of that? That you need a date? Seriously?" he said, a mix of disbelief and amusement in his tone. "It's a Kook party for Kook's.. that happens in the middle is summer, right?" Jimmy asked cautiously and in turn making a the Cameron boy scoff at him lightly, "Yeah, that's pretty much it" he said, his tone slightly teasing. "and you want a date for it, hm? anyone in mind, Little Thief?"
"A date and a suit" Jimmy clarifies as Rafe raises an eyebrow, his expression turning amused, "You want a suit and a date, huh?" he said, his tone still playful, "You're setting the bar pretty high there, Baby Kook. You're not going on a job interview, it's a party" he added full of amusement as he tried to hide a smile under his hand.
"Do I look like I own party clothes?" Jimmy asked all too seriously making Rafe look the younger boy up and down, taking in his apparent usual attire of worn-out looking clothes and a dirty looking beanie. "No, definitely not" he admitted in mock seriousness before adding, "You look like a Pogue through and through".
"But I'm a Kook so that don't make sense" Jimmy shot back, causing Rafe to chuckle lightly as he shakes his head at the statement, "You're right, it doesn't make sense.. But, that's just how it is. You're a Kook in a Pogue's body" Rafe explained simply making Jimmy frown at him, "In whatever that means" he stated in a mild huff as he watched the older roll his eyes back, but a small smirk on his face, "It means you're a Kook in name and family, but you've got the attitude and mannerisms of a Pogue" he explained, this time in more detail, "it's just how you carry yourself, you know? The way you act, the shit you say. It's all very Pogue-esque"
