Kyle's POV

"Holy shit I'm late..." I fell off the bed in a hurry, I'm fucking late for school.

I'm Kyle Thomas Taylor. My friends call me Ky, but I prefer Kit, it's better that way.

I was born on 12th January 2015, which makes me 20 this year.

"Argh huh...what's this?" I picked the letter off my table. I stared at it, but all I got from it was an address. An address in another country. "Great. What the hell is this."

I opened up the letter and saw the contents with a stamp 'TOP SECRET' I chuckled. What could possible so top secret that I, a 20 year old boy would be sent a letter like this? I shook my head and chucked it into my bag. I quickly changed and ran downstairs to head to school.

-Time Skip-

It's now 5:40, I'm on my way back home. "So tired, and I still didn't read the letter...I'll read it when I get back."

Just at that moment, a fire bomb went off about 200 meters away. "Holy shit! What the hell?" I looked out the window, and saw my school field on fire. "OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL?"

Suddenly, the bus flew forward and I fell unconscious.

I woke with a blurry vision slowly coming into focus. "Fuck, my leg...ugggh..."

I climbed out of the bus, and stumbled across a Glock. "Huh. Someone must've dropped it" I checked the clip. 'Damn. Three bullets' I thought with a grim smile on my face. "Shit man, what is going on?!" I turned my head to the sound and was horrified to see two men in khaki uniforms walking towards the bus. I assessed the situation and rushed behind a shrub. One was carrying a M4A1, with a holographic sight and extended barrel. The other had a SPAS 12 gauge shotgun, but I could see he was almost out of shells. I decided to rush the assault gunner, I hoped to incapacitate the assault before the shotgunner took me out.

I rushed out and shot one bullet at the assault and he dropped his weapon and swung his fist. I ducked and smashed the Glock into his right temple. He fell quickly, meanwhile I pulled the shotgunner's weapon up and stuck my Glock into his throat. "Shut up and I won't kill you." I snarled. "You don't have the fucking guts boy! You're only 18 you don't even know whether the gun's loaded or not!" He sneered at me, he was obviously not paying attention. "I thought as much." I smashed his nose in with the butt of my Glock and he fell backwards like a puppet without strings.

"That was close...I need to find something better. I looked at the assault rifle and was utterly disappointed. It wasn't a M4A1 at all! It was a G36C, but with a wooden stock that must've been taken from an AK-47. 'Bastards, they removed a perfectly good stock...now it is unbalanced...' I thought grimly. I checked for any leftover clips and found two. "Just two? And the other guy only had a few shells left..." I wondered where they have been firing those.

I trudged forward, reloading the assault rifle as I went. I looked at the third clip. "Full, but the second was half empty." I said out loud. That's not good...

I went over to the police station to try and find survivors, little as I'm sure there would be any. I slowly opened the door and found myself in a trash heap. Bullet casings everywhere, blood splattered across the wall, dead bodies strewn about, some had police uniforms. "Ugh the fuck happened here..."

I walked through the station and found a weapons locker. "Finally, some luck." I shot the lock off the opened the locker. I smiled at the shotgun lying there as well as three filled clips for my G36C.

I rushed toward the army base, but was immediately halted by a security gate as well as three guards. "Halt! Identification!" The guard boomed. "I...don't have any papers...I'm only 20. My father is in there! Bombs are fall all over the place I need to know if he's fine!" I lied. "Tough luck kid, but I don't believe you. Now beat it or I'll shoot you where you stand."

He's not leaving this place alive after saying that. I threw myself at him, pulling my Glock at the same time. And pressed it against his chest. "Now, open the gate." I requested. "Heh, as if I'm going to be outmatched by a kid..." I frowned and pulled the trigger. "ARGHH!" The soldier stumbled back and fell over. I turned and quickly placed one bullet in the other soldier's forehead and the last bullet into the fuse box, allowing the barrier to be raised. I discarded the gun and ran inside.

I unslung my G36C and hefted the stock to my right shoulder. Being ambidextrous, I could hold two guns, but for my size, the best I could manage was a pistol and a SMG, but alas... I ran through the building, hoping to find an official looming around and was unfortunately surprised to find many weapons that I could load myself with. I left my G36C on the floor in exchange for two pistols, a Berreta as well as a Five-Seven, both of which held many bullets. There was a WA-2000, a Commando Assault rifle, as well as a M4A1, none of which I could carry, and to add insult to injury, I found that the two assault rifles had little to no bullets. The WA-2000 would be very cumbersome.

I decided to push ahead to find a lighter assault rifle or a better SMG. I rounded the corner and saw both of my options lying on the ground. A LaMG was on the right, a AK-74u was on the left. (LaMG is a made up weapon. It stands for Light assault Machine Gun and was developed  as a  sub machine gun that fired assault rifle bullets, with a downside being it's poor accuracy.)
