Time anomaly restored. Currently 21:59 at White House, Washington D.C
Scythe's POV
Ok, we have secured our position, but the rest of the army, which I'm expecting is gonna be lots, will be on their way soon. I've met up with X-Ray and Sigma, who hung back to avoid more skirmishes that could endanger our mission. They met at the lobby of the White House, which prompted me to ask them what they had then done. X-Ray quickly replied, "Oh, I was just checking on my software, just to ensure that everything was working."Yeah, I can deal with that. But seriously though, I'm a bit suspicious of Sigma. He may have done something to sabotage our mission. So I'll keep my eye on him as well as on Fluffy. He isn't taking this too well, he's kinda scared of all of the gunfire, but he is a great watch-person.
All I want to do is to get this done and get the fuck out. Maybe IF TEXAS WOULD SHUT UP. IT PROBABLY WOULD BE GOING FASTER. But yeah, I'm dead tired. This is only the first place we're at! We still have more to go, but I have received word we will be getting new members. Apparently word had gotten to the higher uppers that we are short on men, so they decided to pull more of the experienced into the fray. I'm interested to see who's gonna be here though.
Texas' POV
I'm scared. Really. I'm in a time where nuclear bombs are everywhere. In every single major country with access to those materials. Although I'm not a nuclear physicist, I'm pretty sure those will kill us even if we are really far away. So I'll make sure I weave before it hits us.Now I'm thinking about him. Him. Always. I can't thinking about him. He asked me to promise him. I did. I never expect to betray myself. But no, I must make it back to him. My sanity depends on it.
Sierra's POV
I wonder if she's here. She said she would be going abroad to further her studies. I think she said America, but I ain't sure. Plus, I've only known her for three years, I'm actually surprised we've been together for this long. I'll make sure to make it back safely, so I can be with her again."HEY, X-RAY WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?" I shouted down the corridor. "Y'know, these algorithms aren't easy to crack. Sigma has seen them before, but he has no clue how to break it." I swore, "keep at it, I'll just keep waiting yeah?" X-Ray laughed and went back to work.
"Pffft, I wish I wasn't so much of a nerd. C'mon, chill, I've almost got it." X-Ray shouted back. I can't believe it, we are actually infiltrating the White House. Never thought it would be possible. Texas and I were still a little chilly, but that's to be expected. She probably has a boyfriend who actually has muscles.
Texas' POV
Oh, how I wish I could be in his arms right about now. But that would have to wait. Standing next to Sigma hasn't made it better either, he's actually quite well-built, although he's a smoker. But I don't particularly mind that, unless you blow the smoke in my face. Then we have a problem. But other than that, he's ok.I wonder, could the bomb be deactivated until we evac? Then we detonate it as we are transporting? That would make it easier wouldn't it? "Hey, X-Ray wouldn't it be possible to disable the bomb first? Set a det-charge on it before we leave, then we fight our way out, detonate it as we leave." X-Ray looked skeptical. "Even if we were able to fight our way out, I don't think the enemy would give us any time to hit the button before we transport outta here. Maybe we could, ask Scythe about it ok?"
I nodded and turned around. I still feel uneasy about Sigma...
Shadow's POV
Heh. They think they are so clever, it is going to work, bitch. Actually, let me see, if I can steal the group's transporter before they leave, I can leave them in the blast, they die, I escape and kill X-Ray on my way back. Sounds like a plan. However, I would also need a time machine to get back. "Hey, X-Ray, you don't happen to have one of those time machines do you?" X-Ray turned around. "As a matter of fact, I do. I'll hook it up yeah?" I shook my head. "That won't be necessary X-Ray, but thanks for letting me know...are you the only one who has it?"
