Kyle's POV
January 21st 2035
6:42pm
Currently inside army base

I slid towards the LaMG and grabbed it by the barrel, leaning backward in order to avoid any traps.

I came to a stop, by which I was at the end of the corridor...but there were no perceivable traps. "Who has a army base with no detectors or traps anywhere?" I whispered to myself.

I stalked the corridor...but no sound was to be heard from the end. I was startled to hear a wisp of a gun traveling down and my world went dark...

7:15pm
Secret underground base (but now you know about it)
Third person perspective.
Kyle woke to a stabbing pain on the side of his head and on his shoulder. He groaned...and winced as he tried to move his arms and found them to be shackled and chained to a board he was lying on. He slowly heard a almost inaudible hum, and realized there was a stasis field around him. He was dumbfounded to be in such a position. Here he thought he was so good to break into the army base! What luck! To be found holding a gun and probably guilty for two murders.

Kyle's POV
I turned my head to a sudden sound. A decorated general walked into the room. He looked calm, but had a slight frown and had his brows crossed. I chuckled, "This must be a mistake! I'm just here to find shelter!" The general looked skeptical, but shook his head and began talking. "Well, I can't let you go, and be assured we don't not harm kids. But what I do want to know is how you managed to do what you have done." I looked into his eyes, and saw hard steel behind the icy glare. I took a breath, and said, "I was trained in weapons Speciality and assassination techniques since young. I was also trained personally by my father, who is also a specialist assassin. If you don't believe me, you can gladly look for the company, Abstergo Industries."

The general cocked an eyebrow, and seemed to be in deep thought. "I don't believe that you're an assassin...but I do seem to recall hearing of a great soldier with techniques similar to what you have said, so I will set you free, but at the cost that you obey my every order. Are we clear?" I nodded, knowing that this is my chance to prove myself in this place.

I looked around the base as we walked through it. Many facilities were left empty, although the gym and the firing range were still active. The general pulled into the firing range and handed me a set of ear mufflers. I was bewildered, so I asked, "Why are you giving me this?" He smiled and responded, "Because, I want to test you. Seeing as you are of an age where it is the beginning of your army career, it's only fair to see your skill."

"What's in it for me?" I asked, I was sure he was going to say something else, but to my surprise, he just said, "Just go for it. I will decide later." I huffed and went over to the locker. The general stopped me. "Please, use this instead." He handed me the LaMG I picked up from the corridor. I didn't even notice my lack of weapons while in the stasis field, I silently cursed. I tooled the LaMG from the general and raised the barrel toward the target. I noticed the awkward sight and stock and quickly observed that the gun was capable of producing a large amount of recoil.

I shouldered the gun and pulled the trigger, careful to keep the barrel low to allow the recoil to help me keep the gun on target. BBRRRT!!

The general pulled me away from the stand and into the doorway, he whispered, "Look, it was great how you managed to keep the gun steady for the entire shooting time, but there are some people who do not like to be placed second. They are the toughest people in this regiment, and they won't think twice about harming a kid. Watch yourself. Clear?" I nodded. My father had told me about them.

I just had one question to ask the general, "What's all the fuss about the bombs?" The general replied with severity that could be acquitted to a teacher's. "Get yourself out of BMT alive, and I'll tell you." I gave a blank stare. "Look, I've seen your skills and you have demonstrated that you are already prepared for anything. But that doesn't mean you can just enter without proper qualifications." He have a curt nod. I responded with as much happiness you would get from a feisty teenager. Basically none. The general must've read my mind as he said, "don't worry, since you are still quite young, I'll let you pack first, but you are required to have your personalized stealth suit as well as light combat gear as a safeguard." I was intrigued and so queried, "If I may general, I would like to know the material of the suit." He looked at me and smiled. "It's made of GoreTex and Kevlar. It also can camouflage it's skin to be whatever you are near to hide different parts of your body." I cocked an eyebrow and grinned. 'This is gonna be fun.' The general was pleased and so send you back to your house and packed for the journey ahead.

And just like that chapter two is completed!
