I wonder if,
Every Time a person lies
Something breaks,
Crumbles to dust

Dust to Dust
Ashes to Ashes

He must pay.

Eden's POV

Gamma landed the helicopter, which I then quickly hopped out, which prompted Gamma to warn me of the search lights.

"Better watch yourself, the lights are actively searching for any intruders. They will shoot on sight." Gamma warned, dumping the soldier out onto the floor. Luckily we found a clearing far enough that the men wouldn't be able to see us land, but close enough so that we wouldn't have to spend time to get to the front entrance. "Got it, I'll watch myself, old man, try to keep up." Gamma looked at me with a sneer that caused me to scrunch up my nose and pout. "You that I don't like that face right?" Texas just kept quiet, fiddling with the gun she brought, a modified MORS, with a night-vision scope attached.

"Yea, but it's a way to piss you off, haha..." Gamma replied. I laughed it off and took a look ahead. There weren't many trees from here to the compound, which would prove to be difficult to execute a stealth entrance. I decided that since Gamma came without his rifle, we would have to make do with our CQC.

"Ready? We need to infiltrate, grab whatever we can and get the hell out, no spotting." Gamma reiterated. "I hate you and your unnecessary droning, can we just get on with it? I'm bored..." I whined.

"Okay, fine. Get caught then..." Gamma lightly brushed past me and got to work carving a path. I sighed, and leaped up to a high tree and swiftly snuck my way toward the clearing just outside the compound. I laid down on a couple of branches, taking in the situation we had before us. Texas followed quickly and rested on three overlapping branches.

Two guards patrolled the perimeter of the building, while seven guards stood atop the structure, effectively making it very difficult to sneak by without at least one guard spotting us. I figured that the building would definitely have two more on the other side, so sneaking the back entrance was useless. Anyways, the building was humongous. Scythe must be crazy to think we couldn't see the building on SatNav. I thought that all buildings were recorded by the census, but I think Sigma would have connections. Either that, the government just doesn't care about buildings that are run-down and derelict. There were a couple more behind it, connected by an overhead walkway.

"I'm in position, over." Gamma whispered into my comms piece. I readied my aim and focused. Time seemed to slow down and I threw my knife. It made a soft whisper and embedded itself into the chest of the rightmost guard on the roof. He toppled, but no sound was heard.

Gamma only have 3 seconds to act before the other men turned and noticed the rest. A beep was heard and suddenly, the building doors and windows shattered and the men were thrown forward. Two stood up but were soon brought down by Gamma. The plan went perfectly, almost too perfect for my liking. The bombs went off, but no sounds from inside the building were heard. Texas took one shot at the right-most guard and took him out with ease.

The dust cleared and I hopped off the tree and landed next to Gamma. "Nice explosions, where did you place the bombs?" I asked. Texas followed suit, but said nothing.

"That wasn't me. I didn't place any bombs." He searched his bag and came out with nothing of the sort. I was confused. This wasn't right. How would Sigma know we were? Unless...

I ran and covered the left side of the building, where no guards were seen. No guards? What the fuck....is going on? I took a deep breath, turned and found myself staring to Gamma's eyes. Texas was on the other side of the building, so she was nowhere close to me.
