"The weekend has begun!" Garcia said in Morgan's car.

Penelope was carpooling with Rossi and Morgan. Derek, driving with Rossi in the passenger seat, opened the window for Garcia. She loves it when the wind hits her face, however this time, she uses this opportunity to yell..

"Baby, you need to stop yelling, that kid just jumped because he got scared." Morgan said at a red light. "You better behave or else I'm putting it up."

"EMILY HERE WE COMEEE!" Garcia yelled, the window shutting midway her sentence. "Derek?!" She pouted.

Rossi sighed, "I shouldn't have agreed to carpool with you two.." He chuckled.

"We're almost there mama." Derek looked at her from the rear view mirror.

"Okay." She smiled, showing all her front teeth.

Morgan parked after about another three minutes of driving.

"Come on come on!" She practically dragged the two agents. "Emily we are heree! Buzz us in."

They took the elevator and rushed towards Emily's door.

"Welcome to my apartment!" She opened the door to greet them three.

"Not too shabby!" Rossi kissed her on the cheek, looking around her place

"Come in come in." Emily closed the door behind them.

A black little cat came up to her, purring. "This is Sergio!" Emily picked him up, showing him off to the agents.

"I love you to death! I would die for you!" Garcia grabbed him off of Emily's arms.

"I love your kitchen Emily." Morgan commented.

"Thanks! It was inspired by my teenage years. I spent a lot of time in my kitchen, mostly hanging out with my maids and chefs." Emily was proud of how she decorated.

"Okay spoiled girl.." Morgan smirked.

"Oh my gosh! I love this candle, but they don't make it anymore how'd you still have it?" Garcia held up a lavender-scented candle.

It was a big candle - a soy wax one with three wicks. The colour was pink and had a red, heart-shaped glass container. It was old, yet looked like it was taken care of.

"Uhh it was given to me a long time ago, I never lit it." She smiled slightly.

"Means something to you?" Morgan noticed her change in expression. "If you don't mind me asking."

"It was the last thing Hotch gave me before he left.. we said we were gonna light it once we got married, have kids or bought a house together. Obviously impossible but we were young and naive back then." Emily chuckled, thinking about their old romance. "At least I was.."

Shortly after, more knocks came on the door.

JJ arrived at 5:03; Reid at 5:21; and Hotch? He was nowhere to be seen.

The time's 6:30pm and she is convinced he won't come. "Hey is there any word from Hotch?" Emily asked JJ.

"No.. nothing." JJ gave her a look when she turned her back.

"Huh that's unlike him." Emily bit her bottom lip, "well, I just hope everything's okay."

Truth be told, she was looking forward to him being there. Yes, the party was fine as it is but she likes him around. As much as she denies her feelings, it's still there.

"Oh shit we don't have ice!" Morgan yelled out with a drink in his hand.

"Awh really?" Emily came over to see if he was lying, "I'll go across the street and grab us some more." She grabbed her keys.
