The next day, Jungkook entered the classroom, eyes scanning the room until he spotted the omega sitting quietly at his table with his head down, scrolling his mobile phone to kill times. He paused for a moment, taking in Jimin's hunched form and the obvious signs of a sleepless night etched on his face.

The alpha made his way over to his desk, which was conveniently assigned next to Jimin's as the Student Council Vice President. He took a seat, the chair scraping loudly against the floor, but the omega didn't even look up from his phone.

Jimin simply continue scrolling down and pressing the like button on whatever post that he finds interesting. Completely not paying attention to the real world revolves around him.

Jungkook watched him silently, studying Jimin's every movement. The alpha was used to Jimin's usual feisty demeanor, but today, seeing the omega acting like this made him uneasy.

He contemplated speaking to Jimin but didn't know what to say after yesterday's events.

Should he apologize?

Should he continue to tease Jimin?

His mind was in turmoil, something he wasn't accustomed to feeling. After a few minutes, he finally spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Hey." Jimin pretended to not hear, still watching a few random reels on his Instagram page.

Jungkook's frown deepened as he realized that Jimin was ignoring him, pretending not to hear his voice. It frustrated him that he couldn't get a reaction out of the omega, even if it was a negative one.

He leaned forward, speaking a little louder.

"Jimin, I'm talking to you."

"Not my problem."  The omega replied shortly and kept his phone inside his pocket once the teacher arrived.

Jungkook tried not to grimace at the cold response. It stung more than he expected, and it only fueled his growing frustration. He didn't understand why Jimin's indifference towards him troubled him so much. For sure, he hates it to the core.

He settled back in his seat, trying to focus on the lesson, but he found himself stealing glances at the omega sitting next to him more than he cared to admit.

As the class went on, Jungkook's patience with the silent treatment given by the vice president started running thin. He was not used to being ignored, especially by the Park Jimin.

As for Jimin, in the other hand, was busy scribble down some notes as the teacher is teaching at the front, catching up with her lecture.

Jungkook glanced over at Jimin's notes, noticing how neat and precise his handwriting was. It was a stark contrast to his own messy scrawl on the book in front of him. He couldn't help but feel impressed by Jimin's diligence.

Despite his best efforts to concentrate on the class, he found his gaze drifting back to Jimin every few minutes again and again. It was infuriating how the omega could ignore him so easily.

The class felt like it dragged on forever. Jungkook was starting to feel antsier by the minute. He couldn't focus on the lesson, and he has been bouncing his knees during the whole lesson.

He was used to Jimin giving him a hard time, but this frosty silence was throwing him off.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of the class, Jungkook packed up his belongings and walked over to Jimin's desk, putting his hands on the edge of the table as he leaning in to get a closer look on Jimin.

"Jimin," he said, his voice firm. "Let's talk."

The omega locked eyes with him less than ten seconds before breaking it off, proceeding to put his belongings into his bag as he shook his head in denial. "There's no need."

Jungkook gritted his teeth in frustration as the omega continued to shut him out. He watched Jimin packs his things as if he wasn't even there, and it made him furious.

"Like hell there isn't." He grabbed Jimin's arm, gently but firmly, preventing him from playing deaf.

"Just talk to me, dammit."

"I don't want to!" The omega snapped.

Jungkook's grip on Jimin's arm tightened slightly, his own annoyance rising. "Why not?" he demanded, his voice sharp. "Tell me what did I do this time to deserve this stupid silent treatment?"

"Why are you so surprised?! You're not acting the best towards me so why should I treat you nicely?!" Jimin argued and yanked his hand away.

The heated argument seems like have been catching the attention of their classmates as they would peek at them every once in a while.

Jungkook ignored the stares from the classmates, his focus solely on the omega standing before him with such rage in his eyes. Only then, he looked around for a moment, realizing that they had an audience.

"Not here," he muttered quietly so no one would hear, then jerked his head towards the door.

"Follow me." He didn't give Jimin a chance to protest and started walking out of the classroom.

Jimin ignored him as he hang his head low, still standing at the side of his table before a deep, warning voice booming through the classroom, startling a few of the classmates. "I said, follow me!"

The sternness in Jungkook's voice was clear and authoritative, leaving no room for disobedience.

A few classmates exchanged glances, surprised at the tone Jungkook was using with Jimin at the moment. They were used to his usual cool and laid-back demeanor, not the cold, commanding version they were witnessing right now.

With a resigned sigh, Jimin also stepped out of the classroom to prevent more free drama.

Jimin found himself frowning once he's out because Jungkook is nowhere to be found. The alpha might be fast but now Jimin only stood there cluelessly.

He then began to search the hallway for the alpha, but there was no sign of him anywhere. Just as Jimin was about to give up and head back to class, a hand suddenly grabbed his wrist and pulled him into an empty room, shutting the door behind.

Jungkook leaned against the door, his tall and broad body hovering over Jimin who is trying to take a couple of step back to expand the gap between them.

"What—" Jimin lost his words, literally having no idea what's going on between them right now.

Jungkook held a finger to his lips, signaling Jimin to be quiet. He listened intently for a moment, making sure no one was nearby. Once the sound of the footsteps disappeared, he finally turned to look at the omega, his gaze intense.

"Now, we can talk," his voice low and serious.
