As the mock exam approached, many students opted to stay after class to prepare, including a few of their classmates who didn't attend cram school.

Jimin immersed himself in his studies, diligently working through the worksheets with his earphones plugged in, effectively shutting out any distractions.

As Jimin worked on his studies for a while, a shadow loomed over his table, pulling his attention up.

Obviously Jeon Jungkook would stood there, a weary yet smug smile plastered on his face.

"What?" Jimin asked, a hint of impatience in his voice. The taller male chuckled softly, his body resting against the edge of Jimin's desk, looking down at his work.

"Studying hard, huh?" He teased, his eyes flickering between Jimin and his worksheets.

"Yes, thank you for your concern." With a fake smile thrown by Jimin, he lowered his gaze again.

Jungkook chuckled again at the sarcastic comment, his eyes following as Jimin returned his gaze to his work. The taller shifted his weight a bit, leaning in closer to Jimin's table.

"Mind if I join you for a bit?" His words hung in the air, his tone casual but with a hint of intent.

"No." Jimin said rather immediately.

"Return to your seat, Jungkook ah." The omega jerked his head to Jungkook's seat next to his.

Jungkook's smirk widened slightly as Jimin snapped back, telling him to return to his seat. The alpha chuckled quietly, amused by Jimin's blunt response.

"You're as prickly as always," he noted, his eyes twinkling with amusement. He pushed himself off Jimin's table and returned to his seat.

"You're as annoying as always." Jimin copied him.

"Okay, okay, I'll behave," he said, feigning innocence, his gaze still fixed on Jimin.

As Jungkook returned to his seat, a sense of relief overcame Jimin, thinking he could now focus on studying. But before the omega knew it, his right earbud was gently pulled out of his ear.

Jungkook held the earbud in his hand, a questioning look in his eyes as he asked, "Can I use one?"

"I'm not listening to songs. I use them as noice cancelling because apparently, someone here cannot shut the fuck up." Jimin folded his arms.

Jungkook listened intensely before his smirk deepening at Jimin's sharp words.

"Oh, wow!" he feigned a look of offense.

"But come on! Let's listen to a few songs!" The alpha insists, trying to make a pitiful look that is hard Jimin to resist "Please?"

"Do whatever you want." The omega simply said before placing his head flat on the table, facing the opposite from Jungkook as he answered a few more questions on the worksheets.

Time ticked by as hours passed. The other students gradually started to pack their things and leave, ready to head home.

And then there was Jimin, dozed off on the desk. His blonde bangs now fell forward over his forehead, and his body was slumped over the table, sleeping over a few sheets of papers he had been working on. His hand was still clutching a pen, even in his sleep.

"Jimin? Park Jimin-ah." Jungkook stood by Jimin's desk, his voice gentle as he called Jimin's name a couple of times with increasing volume.

He watched as Jimin slowly stirred, his eyes opening slightly, still hazy with sleep. The omega mumbled something incoherently, his mind still catching up with reality. Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle softly at Jimin's groggy state, seeing the omega slowly coming back to consciousness.

"Hey there, sleepyhead. Rise and shine." he teased, a smirk playing on his lips as he observed Jimin.

Jimin whined, a pout forming on his lips as he rubbed his eyes. Nobody ever mentioned to him that sleeping in the evening can make his body even more tired, shit. He's all sore now.

Jungkook chuckled again at Jimin's expression - half sleepy, half grumpy. The pout on his lips and the rubbing of his eyes made Jimin look adorably grumpy in Jungkook's eyes.

What a whipped idiot.

"You must be tired," he commented, a hint of amused affection in his voice.

The Council President gathered up all the papers, books, and Jimin's pencil case from his desk, carefully organizing them before placing them neatly in Jimin's bag. His movements were gentle, as if not wanting to disrupt Jimin who got his head leaned against the wall to continue his nap.

Jungkook did this all without saying a word, his eyes watching Jimin's drowsy state. The action was oddly tender, a contrast to his usual teasing demeanor.

He spoke gently, his voice soft as he addressed the sleeping omega, "Jimin, let's go home."

Jungkook noticed that Jimin was still clearly tired and not quite awake, so he took extra care in how he spoke to the omega. He knew that trying to get Jimin moving would require a gentle touch.

"Park Jimin, let's go home," he repeated, his tone soft but firm. He knew the omega were still half-asleep and likely in no condition to object.

Jungkook carried Jimin's backpack, his hand firm around the strap as they both walked to the bus stop. He didn't mind the extra weight and simply let Jimin lean his head on Jungkook's broad shoulder.

After peacefully sleep in the bus, Jungkook escorted Jimin home, helping the omega navigate through his sleep-induced daze. As they arrived, Jimin's dad was just getting out of his car after returning from work.

The sight of his son and Jungkook together, with the young alpha carrying Jimin's bag and holding Jimin by his side to support him from tripping, was likely quite unexpected for Jimin's dad. He might raise an eyebrow or display a surprised expression.

"Oh, Jeon Jungkook." Jimin's dad greeted him with a smile. "I haven't see you for ages kid."

Jungkook smiled politely at the old man's greeting, his usual composed demeanor on display.

"It's been a while, sir," he replied, his voice friendly yet respectful. Their parents are friends in the first place and sometimes, Jimin forgot about it.

As they exchanged conversations, Jimin simply yawned and walked past them. He somewhat eager to crash his bed and sleep again for the rest of the night. Seeing the eagerness to retire to his room, Jungkook chuckled softly to himself.
