They are supposed to have chemistry next, but as Jimin rifled through his locker and desk drawer, the omega realised something was amiss—his textbook was nowhere to be found.

Jimin searched high and low, growing more and more frustrated as time ticked by, the teacher was about to arrive at any moment and he still hadn't found his book. The omega began pacing back and forth, silently growing desperate.

The minutes ticked away and there was still no sign of his textbook around. Frustration was starting to settle in when suddenly, Jimin felt a gentle tap on his shoulder. Turning around, the omega saw Jungkook standing behind him.

Seems like Jungkook had just gotten his textbook out from his locker when he noticed Jimin frantically searching his things. A frown creased his forehead as he tilted his head aside at the shorter male.

"You look awful, what's up?"

Jimin awkwardly scratched his neck, taking a deep breath before asking, "Have you seen my textbook?"

Jungkook's frown deepened as he listened to Jimin's question. He shook his head, his expression growing more puzzled. "No, I haven't seen it," he replied. "Did you checked your locker and your desk?"

Jimin took a deep breath, turning his heels from the taller male. "Never mind, I will check again."

But then, the teacher stepped into our class, his loud voice calling everyone's attention including both of us who are still standing by our locker at the back of the class. That's how Jimin preparing himself to accept the fact that he will study without his textbook for today's class.

The omega walked to his seat but not when he's being blocked by the other male. He lifted his head up with a slight frown, feeling annoyed to be play with when he's facing a trouble at the moment.

Unexpectedly for Jimin, Jungkook casually shoved his textbook to him. After that, he walked away to his seat, empty handed, leaving the omega confused.

Jimin flipped the front page as he saw Jeon Jungkook was written on the top corner which means the book belongs to the president. That's how the omega could tell that it's not a stupid prank pulled by the male apparently.

Throughout the lesson, the omega was copying the notes on the whiteboard in his book and also, on a sticky note. He then stick them into Jungkook's textbook neatly side by side as making up for the male who didn't get to study with his textbook.

Finally, when the class ended, Jimin handed back Jungkook's textbook to the owner, but then— his gaze flickered to the pink sticky note attached to the cover.

The alpha raised an eyebrow, a small, almost imperceptible smile tugging at the corners of his lips when he saw Jimin's note of gratitude;

Thank you !

He nodded slightly in acknowledgment, his cool and composed demeanor slipping for just that brief moment. "You're welcome." Jungkook then raising his textbook a little in the mid air.

"Just don't make it a habit of losing your things."

The omega snapped his head towards Jungkook again. Somehow, his last sentence was triggered the other who simply let out a scoff.

"It's not like I ask for my things to go missing on purpose." Jimin scowled at him.

Jungkook shrugged nonchalantly, the corners of his lips curving upwards into an almost smirk.

"I never said you did," he replied rather smoothly. "But you tend to be a bit forgetful, don't you?"

Jimin's hand curled over the table, forming a pair of fists. Apparently here the alpha decided to become annoying again, which is seems to be a part of his personality that Jimin swore he hates the most.

"Excuse me, I didn't forget! I even organised my things every now and then okay?!"

The alpha let out a soft, dismissive chuckle, enjoying the fact that he was annoying Jimin.

"Well, apparently not well enough," he retorted. "Otherwise, your textbook wouldn't be missing right now."

Jimin is felt at the edge now as he keeps on talking to Jungkook. "Why are you so annoying?" Jimin snapped, face was screaming in anger as his eyes glaring the male next to him.

Jungkook's smirk widened at Jimin's visible frustration. He could practically feel the irritation radiating off of the omega, and he couldn't help but find it entertaining.

"Me? Annoying?" he asked innocently. "I'm just stating the obvious, Jimin. You're forgetful."

He leaned back in his chair, his gaze locking onto Jimin's. For a brief moment, he thought he could see a tint of red on Jimin's soft cheeks, but it was gone as quickly as it appeared.

"And it seems like I'm also getting under your skin," he added, his voice carrying a hint of satisfaction.

"Okay stop, you're acting so childish right now." Jimin stated, not wanting to further argue about this kind of petty things with petty person.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow as he noticed Jimin's warning glare, unfazed by his irritation.

"Childish you said?" He repeated the word, rolling it off his tongue with mock innocence while pointing at himself.

"It's you who are getting worked up over a few teasing words," he retorted with a smirk.

"If anyone's acting childish, it's you, Jimin."

"I really want to beat you up to the pulp, Jeon." Jimin muttered loud enough for the male next to him to hear his evil plan.

Jungkook chuckled, clearly amused by the threat. Later, he can be seen getting on his feet and walked over to Jimin's table. He stood in front of Jimin's table before he leaned forward, resting his hands on the table, clearing not fearing the smaller male.

"Oh, really?" he said with a raised eyebrow, his smile stretched widely. "I'd like to see you try."

"Ugh! You really—"

"What's up with our student councils over there? Jeon Jungkook, return to you seat!" The voice their teacher interrupted their petty arguments as she shook her head at her students.

The alpha then immediately straightened his posture, the smirk is replaced with a neutral expression. It was like flipping a switch— one moment he was taunting Jimin, and the next, he was the perfect model student again.

He shot a glance in Jimin's direction, his eyes holding a hint of mischievousness before he pushed back his chair to return to his own seat.
