Chapter 21: The Second Saviours

11:23PM.

The Twilight Dynasty and Astraia are walking through the city. They're all wearing their uniforms and Lycoris has Skotadi.

Lycoris: So you're telling me that this kid is an insomniac?

Harbin: Her name is Astraia. And yes, she is.

Lycoris: I started showing signs of being an insomniac before that age so it doesn't surprise me too much. Still crazy how she even has insomnia to begin with. Has she got a mastery?

Harbin: You don't even have a mastery, what makes you think she has one?

Lycoris: Touche.

Quinn: How far is this mansion?

Mya: From what I remember, it shouldn't be much further.

Quinn: You don't sound very confident about that.

Mya: The point is that we're almost there.

Cethin: I wasn't even aware that there was an abandoned mansion.

Mya: That's why it's abandoned. No one even knew it existed. I suppose that over time, the owners moved out and no one found out. Surprised that Litith found it though.

Quinn: Who do you think she's with?

Mya: I'm not sure. I can assume she formed her own little group.

Quinn: She's really trying hard...

Mya: For once.

They keep walking until Lycoris notices a dishevelled and run down mansion.

Lycoris: Is that it?

They turn and see the mansion.

Mya: Should be. Good spot Lycoris.

Lycoris: I really didn't do much but okay.

They all walk towards the mansion.

Mya: This is kind of unsettling.

The mansion is extremely run down with shattered windows that have boards on them, broken glass on the floor, loads of syringes and drugs everywhere, lots of litter, and graffiti all over the walls.

Mya: Who wants to go in first?

Cethin: I will.

Cethin walks up to the front door and slowly opens it. He walks inside.

Cethin: Yeah. It's alright. Come on.

They all follow Cethin. Harbin holds Astraia's hand.

Astraia: It's scary.

Harbin: It'll be alright.

They all walk inside. It's very dark.

Cethin: I can't see shit.

Cethin turns on his phone's flashlight.

Mya: Me and Quinn will go upstairs. You guys stay down here and search for them.

Mya and Quinn walk up a set of stairs.

Cethin: Lycoris. Wanna look around?

Lycoris: Sure.

Harbin: I'll stay in this area and look after Astraia.

Cethin: You sure?

Harbin: Of course.

Lycoris and Cethin walk off.

Cethin: This place is kinda creepy isn't it?

Lycoris: I guess so.
