Chapter 7: Late night meeting

At the dorm. 11:34pm.

The Twilight Dynasty are all stood in the main room in their uniforms.

Mya: So you want us to go to your school?

Lycoris: I found someone. Remember that boy I saw yesterday?

Quinn: Are you telling us he's real?

Lycoris: Yeah. And he's in my class. His name is Cethin.

Harbin: And he wants to meet us at your school?

Lycoris: Yeah.

Mya: Is he an enemy?

Lycoris: I don't think so.

Quinn: And he has a mastery?

Lycoris: I'm pretty sure.

Harbin: We better prepare just in case. Make sure he doesn't catch us off guard.

Quinn: Whilst we're out, you're gonna start your mastery training as well.

Lycoris: Alright.

Mya: Are you sure about this Lycoris?

Lycoris: Yeah.

Mya: Alright then. Make sure you're all ready.

At midnight.

The group are outside walking towards Sixes.

Quinn: Lycoris. Take this.

Quinn pulls out a katana with a purple hilt and gives it to Lycoris.

Lycoris: What's this?

Quinn: The weapon you'll be using from now on. I want you to focus your energy into that sword.

Lycoris: But I don't know how to use it.

Quinn: You'll learn.

Lycoris: It's kind of heavy.

Quinn: It's a katana, it's meant to be.

Lycoris: Aren't they usually light?

Quinn: Depends.

Lycoris: On what?

Quinn: Length of the blade usually. That blade is 70cm long.

Lycoris: How did you get this thing?

Quinn: Got a friend who's mastery allows them to make weapons that last forever. They're a blacksmith so they turned that passion into their mastery.

Lycoris: Do you know any other insomniacs?

Quinn: I... I do.

Mya: It's not exactly a topic that should be brought up.

Quinn: We had a bad ending. I'll just say that.

Lycoris: Hm.

Harbin: How long until we get to this school?

Lycoris: Just around this corner.

They turn a corner and see Sixes. Cethin is standing at the front gate. Waiting.

Mya: Is that him?

Lycoris: Yeah.

Harbin: So you weren't bullshitting.

Cethin: Lycoris! Come here!

Lycoris walks over to Cethin. Cethin is extremely energetic.

Lycoris: What have I told you about telling me what to do?
