4 - Friends outing

*Sebastian pov*

It's finally Saturday! I was so excited for this day to come so I could see Leo and Alice again and now I'm actually nervous...
I don't really know why...maybe it's because she told me today was good to be a friends outing and then she added that "for now" like she wants to be the next one a date?
I hope so...Alice is truly beautiful and she seems so genuine and kind and smart, and don't even let me start on little Leo...

Anyways, we wanted to go to the park again so Leo could have some fun but since it's pouring down Alice invested me over to her house and we could watch a movie or cook something together.
But since it's still summer and we planned on it I'll bring some ice cream!
Alice told me that chocolate and strawberry is Leo's favorite and she likes it as well so I went out this morning and grabbed some.
I just finished getting dressed, I pick my phone and wallet as well as an umbrella in case I don't find a parking spot right in front of her house and close up.

Lucky we don't live that far away from each other, I would have gone by foot to pick them up and go to the park but since it's heavily raining I grab my car.
Somehow there's not much traffic and in about fifteen minutes I'm there, knocking on their door.
"Hello! Come on in!"
"Hi, it's cozy in here..." I tell her looking around just inside her entryway before taking my shoes off
"Thanks!"
"Here's the ice cream"
"Thank you so much!"
"No problem..."
"Amore, Sebastian is here!"
"Yay!" I hear Leo screaming and then the sound of little feet up until he jumps in my arms
"Hey little guy, it's good to see you again!"
"Hi!!!" Here's says excitedly
I put him down and let him lead me further inside their house until we reach the couch in the living room, he has some toys scattered in the floor and couch but that's totally ok, I would except nothing less in a house with such a little kid.

"So...what do you guys want to do?"
"Whatever you want" I answer Alice
"A movie? What do you think Leo?" She asks her son sitting down next to him
"Yeah...cars?"
"Is cars good for you Sebastian?"
"It is!" I say smiling down at Leo
"I'll quickly get some ice cream for us ok? You boys put the movie on"
"Yes mommy"
Leo gives me the remote and I put on Disney+
"Cars 1, 2 or 3?" I ask Leo
"Three!"
"Ok..."
Alice comes back soon and we watch the movie, cars 3 came out last year and I never watched but apparently Leo knows every line...
"Is the ice cream good?" I ask him after a bit
"Yeah, but Italian better..." he says going back to the movie
"Never had real Italian ice cream"
"We call it gelato and you should really try it..."
"I guess I'm gonna have to go to Italy..."
"Mhmh"

After the movies ends a couple of hours later I help Alice pick up our empty ice cream bowls and we put them away.

*Leo pov*

When mommy and Sebastian go in the kitchen to clean up I stay in the living room to play with my toy cars but then I hear a phone ringing, it doesn't sound like mommy's so it must be Sebastian...
I'm very curious so instead giving it to him I answer it...eheheh...
"Pal open your door! I'm speaking wet!"
"Hello..." I say giggling looking at the man on the screen
"Oh...you're not Sebastian..."
"No..." I giggle again
"Leonardo!" Uhoh mommy is mad...

*Sebastian pov*

As we're in the kitchen cleaning up and talking Alice turns around and calls for Leo, his full name being said not in a calm tone...
"We don't answer other people's phones...say sorry to...uhm Mr. Evans and Sebastian now..." I hear her saying so I walk ti them in the living room
"Sorry...sorry Sebby!"
"It's ok Leo, can I talk to my friend?"
"Yeah..."
He gives me the phone and as I start to talk with Chris I hear Alice scolding Leo a little more, making him understand what he did wrong, she does it calmly and I admire her for it
"Bro I'm still here soaking wet..." Chris says bringing me back to reality
"Sorry man...I'm not home..."
"Yeah I figured...who are they?"
"Long story...what are you doing in New York?"
"I was near New York and thought to surprise you and spend a couple of days together...but I guess you're busy..." he says smiling at me
"Stop right there..."
"Hey, sorry to interrupt you guys. I heard what Mr Evans said and if he doesn't mind and you don't mind Sebastian, he could come here and join us..." Alice suggests
"I wouldn't want to intrude..."
"Uhm...it's ok for us..." Alice tells him
"Oh ok! Thanks for the invite"
Alice gives him the address to her house and then I close the call.
