Today is finally the day, it's Leo's fifth birthday and I really cannot believe it! My family and I as well as Sebastian have been planning it, and we really hope he's gonna like it!

This morning when he woke up Sebastian and I made him find his special breakfast and we sang happy birthday to him in Italian, I spent the last ten days teaching Sebastian the Italian song. We had a light lunch cause tonight we're gonna eat a lot while celebrating him with the family. My parents decided to host the party in the garden and Francesco, Camilla's boyfriend, and Sebastian have been helping my dad to put up the decorations last night. My mom and my sister said they were gonna make dinner while Sebastian and I made Leo's cake. He loves chocolate cake so we just made that with some whipped cream to go on the side. "I think this turned out good!" Sebastian says as he licks the spatula "Mhm...what makes you say that?" "Mhm...don't know..." "You're a dork..." "I'll take it as a compliment doll" "It was a compliment!" "Thanks!" He helps me clean the kitchen up as we wait for the cake to be cooked. Once we take it out of the oven we let it cool a bit before transferring it onto a plate so we can bring it over to my parents house. And about my parents, the other day we went over and told them and my sister about Sebastian and I, they were happy and warned Sebastian not to fool around with me or else...to be honest those were empty threats, they love Sebastian already and I can wait to have his mom here next month for his birthday!
"Do you think it's time to get Leo ready?" I ask him as we're sitting on the couch watching him playing outside "How long does it take getting him ready?" "Well I have to give him a bath..." "It's 5.50, if we have to be there at 7 it might be time" "I'll go now...would you mind choose his clothes?" "Shouldn't he?" "He said he wanted you to choose them and for the two of you to...kind of match..." "I'll do that doll" he says before leaning in to kiss my cheek "see you in a bit"
"Come on Leo be still" I tell my son as I try to fix his hair the way he wants to, but he keeps moving as he plays with his dinosaurs "Sorry mamma" "Ok, look in the mirror and tell me if it's ok..." "Yup, I like it" "Ok, let's get you down" I say pulling him off the bathroom counter "Can I go get dressed?" "Yes, want me to help?" "Can Sebby?" "Go ask him" "Ok" As he goes to Sebastian I stay in the bathroom to put away his bath stuff and clean up a bit. I guess Sebastian said yes to him cause I see him carrying Leo towards his bedroom. "Boys I'm gonna shower!" "Ok!!!" They both answer
I took my shower very quickly and did some very light makeup before curling my hair a bit and getting my dress on. I go to check in the boys and I find them in Sebastian's room. "Oh my...you look so handsome!" I tell them as I watch them doing a little silly dance "Thanks mama" "You look really beautiful doll" "Thanks" I say blushing a bit "are we ready to go?" "Yup"
When we arrived to my parents, them Camilla and Francesco all wished a happy birthday to Leo and showed him all the decorations and the table where we're gonna have dinner, he's so excited about it all. "So...how's it going between you and Sebastian?" My sister asks "Good..." "Only good?" "Really good..." I say smiling at her "Have you slept with him...not in that way...I mean does he still sleep in his room?" "Yeah...we're taking things slow, he knows my top priority is Leo and we don't want to go too fast for now, we're still getting to know each other but in a way it feels like we've know each other for years, you know it's all so natural with him. I want to experience things with him, I want to be near him, to cuddle to lay in bed and fall asleep and wake up and see him next to me..." "Awwww Alice! You should ask him if you guys can share the bed...maybe like tonight... it's not a thing that has to happen every time if you don't want to but, I think it'll be nice for the two of you to be that close" "I want that, I'll ask him tonight maybe..." "Good, I'm happy. Now let's go back celebrating that boy!" "Yeah!"
"Are you enjoying your birthday baby?" "Yes!!!" He says surrounded by wrapping paper and gifts "You have one more to open Leo" Sebastian tells him handing him one more gift Leo looks at Sebastian and smiles big, taking it from his hands and slowly opening it, Sebastian watches him smiling too. Leo takes out three new marvel comics, even tho he can't really read on his own yet, I mean he can't read but I'm always there to read with him cause he only can do so much being 5, he loves collecting marvel comics. "You didn't have to..." I whisper to Sebastian as I hug him "I wanted to, I saw them in his room and checked which ones he already had..." "Thank you so much" I say kissing his chest "I'm happy to see him happy..." "Thank you Sebby!" He screams running to him. Sebastian leans down to pick him up and cuddles Leo to his chest "Glad you like them bud, we can read them together whenever you want to" "Ok!" I smile at my boys and softly caress both their backs...wait...did I just say my boys???

It's long after presents and cake time and we're back home, I out Leo down to bed and organized his new gifts so we won't have to do that tomorrow. I watch as after giving me a goodnight kiss Sebastian walks to his room. "Hey uh...could we maybe...share a bed tonight?" "Sure we can doll...mine or yours?" "Mine? So that if Leo needs something he finds me there..." "Of course...I'll uhm change..." "Wait you there..." I reach my bedroom leaving the door open and get in the bathroom to brush my teeth and change into my pj's. "Can I come in?" "Yup" I say coming out of the bathroom Sebastian is standing in the middle of my room in a t-shirt and running shorts. "You sleep in those?" "Uhm...I usually sleep in boxers...but it's fine" "You can take them off if you want to, don't want you to be uncomfortable..." "Are you uhm...sure?" "Positive" I say smiling at him "which side?" "Whichever isn't your favorite" he says "Thanks!" I get in the left side of the bed and invite him over. "Cuddle up?" "Yes please" I answer He pulls me in and switches off the lights "Good night doll" "Night Sebastian" I feel him smile on my shoulder and press a kiss there before i immediately fall asleep...today has been a good day!
