As the fight reached its peak, the seven sins stood facing each other, exhausted and wounded. Just when it seemed they would tear each other apart, a realization dawned on them all.

“This is pointless,” Selena yawned. “Why are we even fighting?”

Cain, breathing heavily, lowered his sword. “I don’t know. I’ve been angry for so long, I didn’t stop to think.”

Victor, his pride finally cracking, looked at Ivy. “I thought I was better than all of you, but what have I gained?”

Ivy, her jealousy cooling, sighed. “I wanted what you had, but none of it was worth it.”

They all glanced at Avaris, who had been sitting on his throne, trying to hoard his wealth. He hesitated before standing. “Perhaps… there’s something more valuable than gold.”

Gordan let out a laugh. “Maybe what we need isn’t more, but enough.”

Desiree, her seductive smile softening, nodded. “Maybe… we’re stronger together.”
