Its been a week since i started work and its been so good. Today was friday and i finally get my first check and i am beyond excited. The feeling of you getting the money you worked so hard for is the best.

I worked different positions in this clothing store due to the stortage on staff. I was straightening out the clothes when i heard a fimilar voice behind me, "wassup."

I turned around and it was the same boy thats been coming in here since i started working here. He was about 18 and tall.

" oh wassup fetty." I smiled. The boy had a eye patch on his eye so i joke and call him fetty because fetty had the same situation

He chuckled, "thats not funny."

"Okay im just playing but whatever happen to you, if you dont mind me asking?"

"Nah its cool i was stabbed in the eye by some boys." He strugged

"Damm who would do that to somebody, thats kinda cruel." I said folding a pair of jeans

He strugged, " yeah but that they dont know what they got coming so its okay."

I looked at him. I just chuckled and shook my head, "so what can i help you with today." I asked crossing my arms

"I dont want anything just came to see you." He said

"And you know i have a boyfriend right."

"Ahh you got a boyfriend?"

"Uh yeah i told you that the first day you came in here trynna flirt with me." I said walking away fixing the clothes that were scattered around on the shelves.

"Well maybe i didnt wanna believe it so i ignored it."

"Bad choice cause i wouldnt dare cheat on my boyfriend so once again how may i help you?" I said

"I just wanna be cool witcha thats all. how about this, you think ya mans would let me take you for lunch." He said and i turned and looked at him like he was retarted.

" i dont know ill ask." I said just to get him out my face

"Ight ma you do that, ill see you later ight. Oh yeah remember watch your back ma, you just never know, cant trust everybody. " He said. He always let that be the last thing he say before he leaves. I was caught off guard the first time and wanted to know what he meant but i strugged it off now not really caring

I nodded, "okay." He walked out the door and i finished up what i was doing.

I don't know who this boy is but he comes in here everyday trying to be cool with me. I mean he was cute besides the eye patch but still i knew he liked me and thats not good being friends with someone that likes you and you in a relationship.

I finished up my day, collect my check and at 3:30 i was walking out happy as hell. I drove all the way home and got out the car.

I had the biggest smile on my face. I opened the door and jaylicia ran to me. "Haay babygirl guess what?" I cheesed

She giggle, "what?"

"Girl i got that check." I started dancing and she joined me.

She took the check out my hand laughing, "yeah i done got me a check i got a check. Yeah i done got me a check i got a check." Jaylicia sung her song

"Ayeee." I laughed and we continued to turn up.
