34 Cavalry battle

Izuku POV

Now the cavalry battle begins. Everyone stares at me, after hearing the explosion of the game and how the points will be given depending on the places in the race. Slowly, groups of people form. I tried to ask to go into any group but ended up alone in the middle of the field. That hurts. I'm completely alone in the field right now and nobody wants to be on my team. Ouch. Not that I know many people here either.

I see Todoroki walking over to me he's Endeavour's son and unlike Dabi he went in UA with a recommendation maybe he'll be on a team with me after I got rejected by so many.

Todoroki: you're my brother's friend?

Me: Dabi? Yes.

I give him a, big warm smile for a short while. He still remains frozen. Then turns around and walks away while muttering.

Todoroki: To bright. I'm not doing this to myself.

He just walked away.  That was mean. I see Shinso. Maybe he wants to be on a team with me. The moment I run over to him is the moment he looks at me like he's seen a ghost. He looks at me for a long moment, just with his mouth half open. I thought he wasn't going to say anything more.

Me: hello

Shinso: you can talk?

Me: what exactly is your expectation for this question. What you expect? I talk and say nothing after I've already talked. There is only one answer

He just looks at me speechlessly for a while. Then he smiles a little.

Shinso: Do you want to be on my team?

Me: Ye-

Suddenly I feel. Something like that I would be controlled. Terrible feeling. That's his quirk.

He looks at me in complete shock. Like he was expecting anything else and If he had 1000 tries to guess what I said, he still wouldn't have guessed.

Me: oh, I've got it! We are in a group with Someone without a quirk or with a villainous one so next we need a weak one.

There was a girl who was trying to show off robots and stuff like that all the time. A lot of people with a weak quirk use support items. Perfect. Just perfectly what I need. She runs over to us.

Girl: Hi, I'm Mei. Shall we work together. Look, this is my baby, I built it myself. What are your quirks are they passable.

Shinso: brainwashing

I looked at her silently for a few moments.

Girl: that's perfect than my babies will stand out and not the flashy quirks!

I didn't expect to find another team after everyone left me. Mei and Shinso were on the ground and I was sort of standing on their shoulders, my arrows were on my back. However, I used my feathers in my arrows to hold the arrows up because I would be to heavy. I also used my feathers to keep my balance otherwise I would have fallen to the ground long ago.

Shinso: I will regret this

Me: I'm sure you won't. It will be fine after all.

Mei: let's go let's destroy the others and show them of what metal my babies are made of

Shinso: I've changed my mind I'll definitely regret it

Me: I'm good at shooting arrows
