Amidst the vibrant songs and chatter of her loved ones, dancing and enjoying as they celebrated her haldi ceremony, Priya's eyes wandered to the flashing notification on her phone. Assuming it was important, she picked it up, her fingers moving deftly to unlock the screen.
Her eyes sparkled with curiosity as she saw Ram's name flashing on the screen. "Mr. Kapoor," a little enigmatic smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she opened his contact.
A mirror selfie of Ram stared back at her, clad in a bright yellow kurta, his face and hair smeared with yellow paste, depicting the playful war he just had with his family and friends.
The caption beneath the picture made her chuckle: "Corporate bakre se yellow bakra bna diya hai."
Inspired, Priya decided to respond in kind, sending him her picture, which Ritika had clicked a minute ago.
Ram's face broke into a wide smile as he looked at the picture of Priya; she too was in a similar state of yellow-tinted disarray, her cheeks and the tip of nose painted bright yellow .
Saving the picture in the phone gallery, he thought for a moment before messaging her again.
