As Ram and Priya climbed down the mandap, Ritika came in front with a wide, mischievous smile on her face.
"Jiju, joote kaha hai?" she asked, wiggling her brows. But unlike everyone's thoughts, Ram smirked.
"Businessman hu, itni asani se loss thori karwaunga," he said, calling out for Shardul.
Shardul, who was standing at the corner with the guilt of breaking the bro code, had to come in front after everyone looked at him.
"Joote de," Ram demanded, smiling in victory, which soon vanished as he looked at the black shoes on Shardul's feet instead of his juti.
"Aww, mere businessman jiju," Ritika teased cheekily, flaunting his juti like a trophy.
The crowd erupted in laughter, except for Ram and Shardul, who shared a 'betrayal-sorry' look.
"Chalo, ab lao fifty-one thousand," as Ritika announced, Shardul's gaze jerked towards her; this wasn't the plan.
"Naye order karne ja rha hu, main rakh lo ye wale," Ram quipped.
"Jiju, yaar," Ritika whined.
"Rules are rules, neg de uska," Shalini chimed in, declaring her the clear winner.
Ram sighed, defeated, and transferred the amount.
"Teri salary se hi katunga," he playfully warned Shardul, sparking another wave of laughter.
"Arey," Shardul tried to protest, but huffing in defeat, Ram had already started proceeding towards the food court for the family dinner.

.A little later, finding the opportunity, Shardul snuck up behind Ritika.
"To cheater bhi hai aap," he murmured closer to her ear, making her halt in her steps.
She had been caught, but maintaining the bride's sister's attitude, she turned back, looking at him with squinted eyes.
Instead of apologizing, she smirked, "Tit for tat," and flipping her hair, she sashayed away, joining others at the dinner table.
Shardul sighed, shaking his head. A small smile soon crept up his face seeing her smiling and enjoying with others. 'Huh! Ladki ke chakkar mai dost se gaddari kerni pad gyi.'

hardul was at the drink corner when he felt someone tap on his shoulder.
"To cheater bhi hai aap," the person, who was none other than Ritika, accused, looking at him with narrowed eyes.
"Ji?" he asked, confused.
"Dulhe ki jooti phen ke ghum nahi sakte aap," she complained, pointing at Ram's jooti on his feet.
Amused, he raised an eyebrow. "Mere dost ki jooti main kuch bhi karu," he spoke, leaving her seething in anger.
A little later, as he was walking away from the group of friends he had been sitting with, Ritika rejoined him, this time with a wide, innocent smile on her face.
"Shardul ji," her voice was so soft that it made him choke on the air.
"J...ji," he stuttered.
"Businessman hai aap, profit-loss to jante hi honge, to bahot acchi deal hai mere paas aapke liye."
"Kaisi deal?"
"Dekhiye, che... help, help kar rahe aap apne friend ki, par ritual hai joote chupane ka," she fumbled, finding the correct word.
