Soon enough, the group are now walking up the stairs in the Bell Tower Interior. As they walk up, Azul and Idia are starting to really lose their breath.
Noble Bell College - Bell Tower Interior
Azul and Idia heavenly breaths, and Idia is wheezing in exhaustion.
Seeing them, Malleus asks, "What's the matter? You've both gone strangely silent."
"How many floors...is the bell tower...?" Azul asks, tired.
Just as tired, Idia says, "Why don't they have an elevator? This place is in dire need of an upgrade..."
Epel asks, "Um, are you guys okay? You're covered in sweat."
"Say, what if you took a broom up?" Deuce suggests, "Surely they have some brooms you could borrow..."
Jamil tries to stifle his laughter, "What a cruel suggestion. Flying would just take them longer and exhaust them even more. So this is all it takes to reduce you to a miserable heap, Azul?"
"Yes, you clearly need a more rigorous training regimen! You should follow Malleus's example!" Sebek says.
Rollo apologizes, "Apologies for the climb. It's a very old building, so the only way up is on foot. Our school takes just as much pride in this bell tower as the bell itself. I do hope you'll take in all the scenery here. It's rather vast and complex, actually. They say that a person could even live here. But worry not; we're almost at the top."
The group continues walking up the stairs and soon reaches the top floor.
Idia cries out, "MADE IT!"
'So this...is the top floor..." Azul says, tired.
Grim then points over, "Is that it there?"
Rollo walks forward, "Yes. Behold... The Bell of Solace."
Everyone looks to see a large golden bell, and there are also two smaller bells on each side.
"Wow. The Bell of Solace is really pretty," Briar says.
"Yeah. What a big bell," Jasper says.
"It's really sparkly," Sereia says.
Malleus agrees, "Impressive. We have bells that toll to tell the time in Briar Valley, but I've never seen one so large. I wonder if this bell would be able to arouse even you, Silver."
"I can only hope so," Silver says.
"Look at the way the sunbeams highlight its brilliant gold luster," Rook says.
Ruggie asks, "Is it actually made of pure gold?!"
Riddle chuckles, "Heh. Even if it was, you'd never be able to carry it back."
Trein is also astonished, "It's magnificent... I'm so very glad I was able to view it in person. This will be a fine tale to tell my wife when we are reunited."
Rollo responds, "Hmhmhm, I'm pleased to see how taken you all are with it. But it's true draw lies not in its beauty."
"Hm?" Everyone responds, confused.
