The Dangerous Charm
Muja Kina was a problem from the start. With her warm smile, flirty attitude, and nurturing nature, she was impossible to ignore. The boys adored her, even when they didn't need medical attention, flocking to her nurse's office just for the chance to spend a few moments with her. But she wasn't just flirty with them—she had her eyes on someone else now.
Lilith.
Lilith's kindness and genuine interest in helping others had led her to volunteer at the nurse's office. At first, it seemed like an innocent way to help out. But it wasn't long before Muja started finding excuses to keep Lilith around. She began touching her more often—a comforting hand on the shoulder, a lingering smile—and making comments that went beyond professionalism.
I could see where this was heading. Muja's flirting wasn't just playful; it was manipulative, designed to pull Lilith closer. And I wasn't going to let it happen.
But unlike the other rivals, Muja's cheerful, clumsy nature gave me the perfect opportunity. Everyone at the school knew Muja was accident-prone. It was practically her defining trait. If she were to suffer a fatal fall, no one would question it.
Learning Her Routine
Getting close to Muja was easy. She was friendly to everyone, and I didn't need to do much to earn her trust. I started visiting the nurse's office regularly, pretending to have minor injuries or asking for help with things that were clearly fake. Muja didn't seem to notice—or care—that I was there under false pretenses. She was always happy to assist.
Through these visits, I learned her routine. She often took breaks on the rooftop of the school, enjoying the fresh air between her shifts. It was a habit I could use to my advantage.
But first, I needed to plant the idea in everyone's mind that Muja was more accident-prone than usual. So, I began small—bumping into her in the hallway so she'd drop a tray of medical supplies, setting up situations where she'd trip over cords or furniture in her office. Each time, she laughed it off, playing up her usual clumsiness. Everyone just accepted it as part of her personality.
No one would suspect anything when her next "accident" was fatal.
The Plan: The Rooftop "Accident"
One day, I overheard Muja asking Lilith to help her with some supplies that needed to be delivered to the rooftop for a school event. I felt my pulse quicken. This was it—the perfect opportunity.
Lilith agreed, of course, not thinking anything of it. She was too kind, too trusting. But I knew this was the moment I had been waiting for.
That afternoon, Muja and Lilith made their way to the rooftop, carrying boxes filled with medical supplies and decorations for the event. I followed at a distance, staying hidden as I watched them through the stairwell door.
They placed the boxes on the ground, and Lilith smiled at Muja. "Is there anything else I can help with?"
Muja shook her head, giving Lilith one of her signature smiles. "You've been such a big help already, Lilith! I don't know what I'd do without you."
Lilith smiled back, oblivious to the undertones in Muja's words. "I'm happy to help!"
As they turned to leave, I quietly slipped onto the rooftop, waiting for my moment.
The Fatal Push
Once Lilith headed back downstairs to get more supplies, I made my move. Muja stood near the edge of the rooftop, adjusting the last of the decorations. Her back was to me, completely unaware of my presence.
My heart raced as I approached her silently, making sure to stay out of her line of sight. The wind blew gently, rustling her hair as she hummed to herself, blissfully unaware of what was about to happen.
I stepped closer until I was right behind her.
Then, with one swift motion, I reached out and gave her a hard shove.
Muja gasped in surprise, her arms flailing as she lost her balance. She stumbled forward, her foot catching on the ledge as she tried to steady herself. But it was no use. With a final, desperate cry, she fell forward, tumbling over the edge of the rooftop.
I rushed to the edge, peering down as Muja's body hit the ground below with a sickening thud. She lay there, unmoving, her lifeless form sprawled out on the pavement. Her head was twisted at an unnatural angle, her limbs limp. It was over.
The Aftermath
The students and staff who discovered Muja's body were horrified. News of her death spread quickly throughout the school, and by the end of the day, it was the only thing anyone was talking about. The school administrators quickly ruled it as an accident, citing Muja's well-known clumsiness and her proximity to the rooftop's edge.
No one questioned it. After all, Muja had always been prone to accidents, and it wasn't hard to believe she had simply tripped and fallen.
Lilith was devastated by Muja's death, but she didn't linger on it for long. She had admired Muja's kindness, but their bond wasn't as deep as the connections she had with some of the other rivals. Still, it left her shaken, and she avoided the nurse's office after that, preferring not to think about what had happened.
As for me, I felt nothing but satisfaction. Muja had been removed from Lilith's life, and no one suspected a thing.
Six rivals down. Four more to go.
