I stood beneath the cherry blossom tree, the weight of my emotions heavy in the air. I had eliminated every rival who had dared to get close to Lilith. I had done it all for her—for us. Now, with no one left to interfere, I could finally tell her how I felt.

When Lilith arrived, her smile lit up the fading daylight, and my heart raced with anticipation.

"Lilith, there's something I need to tell you," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "I've been in love with you for so long. I've done everything I could to protect you, to make sure no one else could get in the way of us being together. I... I love you."

She stood there for a moment, her expression unreadable, and then a slow, eerie smile spread across her face.

"You've been protecting me?" she asked, her voice soft but laced with something dark.

I nodded, confused by her reaction. "Yes... I've made sure no one could hurt you or take you away from me."

Her smile widened, and she took a step closer. "Yan-Kun... I've known all along."

My heart stopped. She knew?

"I've watched you, just like you've watched me," she continued, her voice taking on an almost chilling edge. "You're not the only one who's been eliminating obstacles. I've been doing the same, making sure no one would ever take you away from me."

My eyes widened as I realized the truth. Lilith wasn't the innocent, gentle girl I had thought she was. She was just like me—a yandere, willing to do anything to keep me by her side.

"I love you, Yan-Kun," she whispered, her eyes gleaming with dark intensity. "And I'll do anything to keep you safe. We belong together. Forever."

A shiver ran down my spine, but I felt a twisted sense of relief. Lilith wasn't afraid of the darkness inside me—she embraced it. She was the same as me.

"I love you too," I said, my voice shaking as I reached for her hand.

Together, we would make sure no one ever came between us again. No one.
