Alternate Ending 1: Lilith Likes Him Back

The Moment of Truth

I stood beneath the cherry blossom tree, waiting for Lilith. My heart was racing, but this time it wasn't out of fear or anticipation—it was hope. I had eliminated all ten rivals, carefully removing each one from her life, and now there was nothing left standing between us. No one could interfere with my confession.

When Lilith arrived, she smiled as she approached, the petals of the cherry blossoms swirling gently in the evening breeze. She had no idea what I was about to tell her, but I could already feel the weight of my emotions building inside me.

"Hey, what did you want to talk about?" she asked, her voice soft and kind.

I took a deep breath, my hands shaking slightly as I spoke. "Lilith... I've been waiting a long time to tell you this. You mean so much to me. Ever since the day we met, I knew you were special. You're beautiful, kind, and everything I've ever wanted. I... I love you."

For a moment, there was silence. My heart raced, terrified of what she might say. But then, she smiled—a warm, genuine smile that lit up her face.

"Yan-Kun... I had no idea you felt that way," she said softly, her eyes meeting mine. "But... I've felt the same way for a while too. I just didn't know how to tell you."

My heart soared.

"I love you too," she whispered, stepping closer.

Relief and joy washed over me. After everything I had done, after all the sacrifices I had made to protect her from the others, she had chosen me. She felt the same way.

I reached out and took her hand, my heart pounding in my chest. "Lilith... thank you. I promise I'll take care of you. I'll always be by your side."

She smiled again, leaning in to rest her head on my shoulder. "I know. I'm so glad we found each other."

And with that, everything I had worked for, all the pain and effort, was finally worth it. Lilith was mine.
