Street Fight Rank, the goal is to be number one. The top of the SF rankings is known as SF 1. In the world of fighting, only the strong stay on the peak. Through the power of a fighter's aura, the Battle Index can be released. The Aura release can only be obtained by rigorous training and battle experiences. Once the Aura is out from a fighter's body, their Battle Index may flow out and the surrounding experienced fighters will feel it. The stronger the Aura, there may be an increase in Battle Index. The Aura changes color ranging from Yellow to Red. Battle Index is not always guaranteed to appear, only those with battle experiences, these fighters would be able to release it.
In the SF Rankings, the top 15 fighters are determined through battle index limit. To be able to join the top 15, a fighter must have a battle index limit of at least 5,000 points, the first barrier. A great majority of fighters can only use 1,000 points to 4,000 points. The SF Ranking fighters are usually 17 years old to 21 years old. Once a fighter reaches 22 years old, he would no longer be included in the SF Rankings, thus, retire and carry on with higher purposes.
The SF 1 spot has been vacant for almost four years now. The goal is to beat SF 2 in a duel, however, SF2 is unknown. No one knows who and where he is, but he is out there for he is rarely felt because of his abnormally high battle index limit that only the top 5 SF fighters feel. Fighters with an exceptionally high Battle Index limiting to 7,000 points belong in the top 5 SF Rankings. It is believed that once a fighter reached 7,000 points of Battle Index Limit they would open the ability to feel an unknown aura and a 10,000 battle index limit. Legend says that a fighter with a battle index of 10,000 points can lower his battle index to a certain limit, that is why SF2 and SF1 are both unknown. Only a handful of fighters can reach 7,000 points, for it is extremely difficult to increase the battle index and break the 7,000 point limit barrier, the second barrier. The strongest fighter in the SF ranking is rumored to have more than a battle index limit of 10,000 points, the third barrier.
There are fighters with the same battle index limit and same ranks, however, in the SF Ranking world, if two or more fighters have the same battle index, they would be fighting in a duel to determine the stronger fighter deserving of the spot alone. Fighters oftenly locate, hunt, and challenge the next higher fighter on the SF ranking. The unwritten rule is that the lower fighter must be the one to challenge the higher fighter, the higher fighter may accept the challenge shall he deem the challenger worthy. It is possible to skip ranks.
Rank Skipping is rarely done. Rank Skipping could only be done once the battle index limit increases; for example: a fighter with 5,000 battle index limit has increased to 6,000 points, skipping 3-4 ranks in the SF Rankings after defeating the fighter on the spot rank. If the challenged fighter loses, he shall be demoted a rank lower.
