Chapter 9: Rigolus's Defeat

It is a bright sunny day, lots of duels and fights are happening in each Masters Universities. The fighters are eager to increase the battle index limits. Some fighters are trying their best to enter the SF Rankings, especially the top 15.

South Masters University is one of the two strongest schools in Roundhouse, alongside Noth Masters University. The South Masters Universities was founded by the Van Halen Family. The Van Halens are known to be a strong bloodline of fighters, they are also a cursed family. In a fight or a duel, the Van Halens are known to play dirty as long as they achieve what they want and win. They manipulate their opponents by provoking them. Provoking is very common in a fight, however, the Van Halens do it alot worse, you can say that it is their special skill. Once a fighter is provoked by a Van Halen, he simply loses his cool and is highly assured to let his guard down, that's when the Van Halen preys on their opponent. The last known strongest Van Halen to ever stand on the top of the rankings was Rockien Van Halen, he was once the SF 1.

Officially, the SF 1 spot has been vacant for 12 years. However, Rockien's younger brother, Goren Van Halen, was the last SF 2, the last known fighter to stand at the top of the rankings since his brother. Goren Van Halen stood as SF 2 until he graduated, 4 years ago. Goren was defeated by none other than Figorus Dominum. Figorus and Goren fought a legendary battle. Battle between SF 3 and SF 2 that happened 4 years ago. Figorus Dominum won the duel when his battle index limit increased to 10,000 points. Technically, Figorus Dominum is supposed to be SF 1, however, as soon as he won the duel, he was assassinated, his body was never found. It was the Van Halen family that killed Figorus Dominum. Since Figorus Dominum died, he was not officially recognized as the SF 1. This opens the slot for the strongest fighter for over a decade.

Rigolus Dominum, the current and known fighter standing at the top of the rankings, is SF 3. A lot of fighters, even those in the top 25 rankings are trying to best him. He has been receiving a lot of challenges, but he has been refusing them all. His younger brother, Accendus Dominum, SF 4, is a bit the opposite. Accendus has been accepting and dueling a lot of fighters that challenges him, this is to increase his battle experiences. Thunder, SF 5 has been training hard as well, he is preparing for the day he accepts the challenge of the Sebastian brothers, specifically, Damian Sebastian, who is on the current SF 6, aside from Clay Nickel. Though Clay Nickel lost his duel with Damian Sebastian, both of their battle index limits are equal, therefore, technically, Damian ranks up and stays in the SF 6 spot, along with Clay Nickel. His twin brother, Damien Sebastian, is the current SF 7, though Damien Sebastian is not the type to challenge, he loves practicing through duels and fights. Damien does not actually care too much about the rankings, nor does he want to stand on top. For him, as long as he can fight alongside his brother and study, he'll stay in Roundhouse City.

In South Masters University, inside the Principal Fred's office.

Along with him inside his office is a man wearing an all black and dark green mask. This man is none other than the infamous and unknown SF 2. SF 2 is now confirmed to be studying at South Masters University. " Your mission starts now. Can you handle it?" Principal Fred asks.

" I've been waiting for almost 2 years..." says the SF 2, looking sinister.

" Do not kill him, we need him alive, do you understand ?" . Principal Fred said. SF 2 peeks outside from the window " Hmmm....".

" This is an order from your father...Do not mess this up"

" Hmm...okay okay..." SF 2 faces back to Principal Fred. As Principal Fred is about to sit in his chair, SF 2 vanishes in his office. Principal Fred is confused and surprised. He smirks and says " Enjoy".

Meanwhile, Marcus Sebastian went to the orphanage where the Dominum Brothers grew up. He is there to speak with Headmaster Jake.

Marcus Sebastian arrives at the orphanage and gets welcomed by Headmaster Jake. " You've gotten older Jake" Marcus said and shakes hands with Headmaster Jake as Jake bows in respect. " Ow, what a surprise ! Master Marcus, it has been over 20 years. I have been waiting for you."
