Chapter 12: Cease Fire Month

3 weeks before the Ceasefire Month. All street fighters know about this month of the year. This is a month of peace and training, this month should be respected and abided by all street fighters. Duels, Fights, and group wars are strictly prohibited during this month. So street fighters are eager to rank up. Most of them are challenging and most are challenged. The top 10 SF ranking fighters are always challenged by other lower ranked street fighters. However, both Rigolus Dominum and Accendus Dominum are rejecting all challenges lately for the past few days. The brothers would rather train more than fight duels before CFM.

" This is my 3rd CFM now, but ever since I got here and became SF 3, Lex told me to rather train and reject challenges from all fighters a few weeks before CFM" Rigolus said.

" Why though ?" Accendus asks.

Rigolus explains to Accendus what Alexander told him 2 years ago.

" I suggest you reject all challenges and focus more on training than fighting duels. The Ceasefire Month is full of chaos, and there are fighters that disappear without a trace, not even the police and Fight Service Department know about these. It's better that way." Alexander said.

" Then how come you know about it ?" Rigolus asks.

" Figorus became very famous a month before Ceasefire Month. He was so strong and eager to fight, that he accepted all challenges and beat everyone. But he never actually challenged Goren Van Halen because he made a promise to me, so he took all his attention to fighting everyone that challenges him. Before his death, we encountered Goren, he defeated me easily, but since FIgorus was really famous back then, Goren fought Figorus and got defeated by your brother. After that, he was assassinated." Alexander tells Rigolus.

" So since there is no evidence to support your claim as a witness involved back then, the police and Fight Service Department did not know until 3 days after his death ? " Rigolus asks.

" Yes. What I'm saying here Rigolus... Don't make the same mistake your brother did just because you want to be on top." Alexander warns Rigolus.

" My brother did make a mistake, Lex. Don't blame this on him, he was a victim !" Rigolus then becomes upset.

" ....Im sorry, all I am saying is, if he were alive today, he would tell you no to engage and just wait after CFM is over, please listen to me Rigolus, your brother is going to be here in a few years time, if you are targeted by those assassins, you may not survive, look after your younger brother ... "

Rigolus calms down, hearing those words from Alexander " .... I understand. I am sorry.. Thank you Lex." He said.

Rigolus told Accendus his conversation that he had with Alexander about fighting before CFM.

" I see. As much as I hate how boring this month is, and the next month, Lex makes sense." Accemdus said.

" Yes, and right now, since we are the ones on top as known, we have to be a pacifist for a month, and train during the CFM. " Rigolus said. " Well, training is not so bad after all." Accendus replied. " We start now. Let's duel" Rigolus then releases his vibrant red aura and enters a fighting stance. Accendus is surprised " Ha ? you're the higher rank and you're challenging me ? " he asks. " What are you afraid now ? hahahha " Rigolus laughs at his brother. " Since when am I afraid of you, Rigolus ? Figorus is a lot hell scarier than you ! hahaha" Accendus then releases his vibrant red aura. " FIne then here I come ! Give me all you've got ! " Rigolus said. They both laughed. Accendus went on charging first. " Ow you're on ! don't hold back !"

" He! let's see what you've got little brother !"

The brothers are enjoying a friend duel. Both of them released their red auras. They are happy training together.
