Throughout the rest of the year, Hoon would hang out more alongside with Yongwhan but still went with Taemin and Sachi, however he wasn't fully comfortable with them since they hadn't told anything to Hoon about their relationship to Hoon since then, Wich Hoon found it suspicious and felt like bith Taemina and Sachi didn't trust him, he still liked the two as his friends, but that thought came across once in a while. Taemin and Sachi went on their date during the 2nd term vacation , And Taemin was planning out his confession, he planned it out to be sometime in February, the month of valentines day.
Taemin looked at his letter, ready to go, it was bearly January but he was prepared and ready.
'I think this letter is good, I want him to read it first and then I'll confess my feelings myself, along with some cute flowers and a plush, im sure he'll love those' he smiled to himself, happy just thinking about it
'Hm...I also want to bake some sweets for him for valentines day..' he began planning as he roamed the halls. He suddenly noticed Hoon, and he was walking around with Yongwhan
'Ah its hoon...those two have been hanging out a lot..I wonder if...Yongwhan likes Hoon, that would be bad...it makes me worried, should I just confess now?? I mean...' Taemin sighed 'no, I have to be patient, plus, exams are coming up, don't wanna stress Hoon out' he walked towards them.
"Hey, it's Tae" Yongwhan waved
"Tae!" Hoon smiled
"Hey, you two going somewhere?"
"Were jsut walking around for now" Hoon said "Where's sachi? Is she not with you??"
"No, she went to go deal with sine stuff in the tennis court"
"Oh okay" Hoon smiled
'I love him' Taemin thought
[After school]
Hoon was out beside the gate, waiting for Taemin and sachi
'Yongwhan has club activities today...I wish I could stay with him alittle longer..' he looked at his scarf and covered up his mouth since it was snowing.
Taemin walked over to Him "Hoon!" He smiled
"Your here" he smiled back.
"Yeah, sorry for the wait, it won't happen again"
"Um, where's sachi? Again"
"Shes staying for club activities"
"In the cold..??"
"Shes going to practice in the gym, so it'll be okay, they have a heater"
"Oh that's right, that's good then"
Taemin nodded "Lets go"
Hoon began following along.
[At home]
Hoon took off his shoes and placed them aside, he sat down on the engawa, next to a heater but still with his scarf and sweater on, he looked at the snow and how it covered the ground below him, he scooped up some snow and made a mini snowman beside him "adorable" he smiled brightly.
Taemin walked in holding a tray of cups "Here's the warm tea, carefull though it's really hot" Taemin placed it down and sat down next to Hoon, grabbing his cup.
"Thank you Tae, your Tea's are always the best"
"I'd make tea for you any day and everyday Hoon, just gotta ask for it kay?"
"Mhm mhm" he took a small carefull sip.
"There's so much snow this year huh" Taemin looked around.
"Yeah, the three of us should have a snow day someday! We could have a snow fight, build forts and stuff"
"I would love that, ill bring uo the idea up to sachi"
"Yeah!"
The were quiet for a moment, just looking at the snow, before Taemin got closer to Hoon and hugged him from behind.
"Tae..?"
"Im getting cold...and your warm Hoon.."
'Hoons been really wierd lately...he's so distant from me...am I doing something wrong? If I hurt you just say so Hoon...don't leave me with my thoughts like this, I love you.'
'Why does he do this...? Isn't he with sachi...? I don't get why he's always so flirty and touchy with me..as if...he's trying to say that he likes me...' Hoon sat still "Tae be honest with me.."
"Yes Hoon?"
"Are you with Sachi?"
"Huh? Now what gave you that idea..?"
"You..arent...?"
"No, im not, where did you hear that from??"
"No where I just...that day, you two were beside the stairs, sachi confessed to you! And you accepted, right??"
"Well...yes..that part is true, but I never accepted her confession"
"What...?" Hoon was left confused.
"I rejected her at first...but then she asked me for a single date, just for one day, she told me it would make her happy...and would accept the rejection, so I did just that"
"Oh..."
"Did you think we were dating, Hoon...??""
"...maybe...I just.."
'My heart is pounding again...I feel so relieved...I don't know what to say...'
"Well you thought wrong, is that why you've been avoiding me this whole time?"
"Avoiding you? I wasn't trying to..I just...I thought you two didn't trust me to tell me that you two were dating so I...kept my distance, Cause I thought that's what you wanted.."
"I would never want that Hoon, never in my life would I want you to be far from me, I want to stay close to you, to protect you, and i..."
'...no I can't just yet, it's too sudden'
"...I care about you Hoon, I've known you my whole life you know.." Taemin hugged him again.
Hoon hugged back "Yeah...me too..im sorry Tae"
"Its okay, glad we got that cleared up.."
Hoon nodded.
Now that Hoon knew Taemin wasn't with sachi and that it was all just an misunderstanding, he felt like he had a chance, but then began thinking back to Yongwhan.
[In the night]
"Yongwhan..." Hoon looked at the door while he was sleeping by his side 'I've recently started having a crush on him too...well, at least I think I do, I can't tell, but then Tae too...aghhh...I can't tell what's a crush and who I just look up to!' He sighed
'Love is complicated..' he turned around in his futon
'Yongwhan once told me...that someone out there is waiting for me...I wonder who...is it him? Was he talking about himself..? No, there's no way, I'm being way too full of myself there's no way I have a chance with either of them I mean..just look at me...sure I got called cute and all, but they wouldn't actually date me..the two are wayyy out of my league' he hid under his blankets 'ill never find love at this rate...' he curled up
'Love...what even is love...?'
