Parker and Chester drifted off to sleep, exhausted from the day's events.
But sleep didn't last.
A loud crash echoed through the hallway.
Parker sprang up, grabbing his camera.
"Chester, come on!"
They rushed to the source – Emily's room.
The door creaked open, revealing chaos.
Furniture shattered, curtains torn.
And Emily, standing amidst the wreckage, eyes glowing red.
"Emily, stop!" Y/N pleaded, tears streaming down her face.
Parker and Chester froze, unsure what to do.
Suddenly, Emily's gaze locked onto Chester.
A malevolent grin spread across her face.
Chester stumbled back, terrified.
"Parker...!"
Parker shielded Chester, his voice firm.
"Emily, snap out of it!"
Emily lunged, but Y/N intervened, holding her back.
"Get out! Now!" Y/N shouted, desperation in her voice.
Parker and Chester retreated, shaken.
In their room, Chester collapsed onto the bed.
"Parker, I can't do this," Chester whispered, trembling.
Parker's expression softened.
"We'll get through this."
Parker's hand found Chester's, a gentle squeeze.
Chester's heart skipped a beat.
Was this more than reassurance?
