Rudra's POV:
The argument with Esha had left my head pounding, her screams still echoing in my ears. I sat down with a cup of tea, trying to calm myself. But the frustration wouldn't fade. My eyes fell on the photo of Siya once again, the one I couldn't stop looking at. For once in my life, I had been genuinely happy, and now it was all falling apart.
It was midnight, and I needed to clear my head. I got into my car, planning to drive home, but my hands moved on their own, steering me toward Ehaan's house instead. I stopped the car a little ways away from the gate. I knew Ehaan's house like the back of my hand-after all, I'd been here countless times as a kid.
I knew where his room was, and where the guards would be. Taking a familiar route, I avoided detection, climbing up to the balcony. It was reckless, impulsive, but I didn't care. I needed to see her.
There she was. My Siya. Sitting on the bed, lost in thought, writing something in her diary. The sight of her made my heart ache with longing. I wanted to take her far away from all of this, give her the life she deserved.
I knocked on the glass door of the balcony.
She looked up, startled. Panic flashed across her face when she saw me. She rushed to the door but didn't open it at first. I motioned for her to be quiet and open it, which she reluctantly did.
"What are you doing here, Rudra?" she whisper-screamed, her eyes wide with fear and confusion.
"Pack your things," I said, stepping closer. "We're leaving. These marriages are all a mess. Let's go to Italy. We can start fresh. No one will trouble us there."
She looked at me, her eyes full of disbelief. "I'm married, Rudra."
"Marriage isn't just a legal process," I countered, grabbing her hand. "It's a commitment between two hearts. I'm the reason you're stuck here, and I can't bear to see you suffer. Come with me."
"No," she whispered, pulling her hand away. "You're not the reason. I chose to be here. Please, just leave."
"I know he's blackmailing you," I insisted, desperate. "Whatever he's holding over you, we can face it together. If you're by my side, we can take on the world."
Her expression hardened. "No, Rudra. Just leave."
"I love you," I said, my voice breaking. I couldn't lose her. Not like this.
"I don't," she replied, her voice hollow, her eyes empty.
"I know you do," I pressed, refusing to believe her.
"I don't," she repeated firmly. "I regret everything we had. I may not be happy here, but this is where I want to be. Please, Rudra, leave."
Her words hit me like a punch to the gut. It felt like my world was collapsing around me. Without another word, I turned and left, my heart in pieces.

Esha's POV:
I was lying on the bed, mindlessly scrolling through reels on my phone when the door to the bedroom burst open. Rudra stumbled inside, clearly drunk. His shirt was unbuttoned halfway, his hair disheveled. The smell of alcohol hit me before his slurred words did.
He staggered toward me, a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Esha," he mumbled, his voice thick with intoxication, "I know you had a crush on me once. Remember that?"
I sat up quickly, alarm bells ringing in my head. "Rudra, you're drunk. Just go sleep it off."
But he didn't stop. He leaned closer, towering over me, a mocking grin on his face. "You liked me, didn't you? Little Esha with a crush on Rudra Singhania. How pathetic."
My stomach twisted at his words. "That was a long time ago," I said, my voice steady despite the fear creeping up my spine. "Just leave me alone, Rudra."
He laughed, a cold, bitter sound. "You're the reason everything's screwed up, Esha. You and your stupid crush. If you hadn't liked me, maybe all this wouldn't have happened. But don't worry..." His eyes darkened, and his hand reached for my arm, pulling me closer. "I'll love you now. Isn't that what you always wanted?"
His words made my skin crawl, the disgust rising in my throat. This wasn't the Rudra I once admired. This wasn't the man I foolishly thought was special. This was just another man, another selfish, entitled jerk who thought he could control everything.
I yanked my arm away, my voice shaking with anger. "You don't know anything about me, Rudra. You think you can throw around words like 'love' to get what you want? You're just another arrogant asshole who doesn't care about anyone but himself."
His face twisted in anger, and for a moment, I thought he might lash out. But then he stumbled back, defeated. I watched as he collapsed onto the bed, muttering incoherently, his anger fizzled out by the alcohol coursing through his veins.
The pain hit me hard,I drove away to my dad the one place I can get comfort
