Ehaan's POV
It had been a week since Esha first told me the plan, and I had to admit, it was brilliant. Watching Rudra fall for Siya had been amusing. They were practically glued to each other, stealing glances, holding hands, and all the nonsense that came with being "madly in love." It was obvious to everyone around them. But today, everything was about to change. Today was the day Rudra’s happiness would crumble to dust.
I had planned everything meticulously. The courtroom was booked, the documents were ready, and even the mangalsutra had been chosen. The cherry on top? Rudra would be watching the entire thing unfold.
I smirked at the thought as I adjusted my suit. Today, I would steal the one thing Rudra cared about. And I’d do it right in front of his eyes.
---
I found Siya in the office, dressed in a simple saree for the puja later that day. She looked nervous but beautiful—perfect for the role she was about to unwillingly play. I approached her with a calm smile.
“Siya,” I said, “I need you to come with me. We have to collect some documents.”
She looked a bit confused but nodded, grabbing her purse. “Documents? What for?”
“Just some business stuff. It won’t take long.”
The drive to the courthouse was quiet. Siya stared out the window, oblivious to what was about to happen. I could feel my heart race, not out of nerves, but excitement. I was about to destroy Rudra’s world, and he wouldn’t see it coming.
---
When we arrived at the courthouse, Siya looked around, confused. “Why are we here? This doesn’t look like a place for business documents.”
I smiled, keeping my voice calm and collected. “Because, Siya, today’s not about business. Today… is our wedding.”
Her eyes widened in shock, her body freezing as she processed my words. “What?! No! I’m not marrying you, Ehaan!”
I sighed, stepping closer to her, my voice dropping to a sinister whisper. “I’m afraid you don’t have a choice, Siya. You will marry me… or else.”
Her face paled, and she stared at me, eyes wide with panic. “Or else what?”
I leaned in, my voice low. “Or else I’ll reveal your deepest, darkest secret.”
Her breath hitched, and I could see the fear flooding her eyes. She knew exactly what I was talking about, and it was enough to break her. There was no escaping this. She had no other option.
“No… please,” she whispered, her voice trembling. “You can’t do that.”
“Oh, but I can,” I said, smirking. “And I will, unless you do exactly what I say.”
Siya’s eyes filled with tears, but she knew she was trapped. After a long, torturous pause, she nodded. “Fine… I’ll marry you.”
---
As the priest began the ceremony, I took out my phone and dialed Rudra’s number. The video call connected, and I angled the camera perfectly, showing Rudra the moment I tied the mangalsutra around Siya’s neck. His face on the screen was priceless. The shock, the disbelief, the *rage*. It was exactly what I had wanted.
He didn’t say a word, too stunned to even react. Esha was there too, in the office, watching Rudra spiral out of control. She tried to play innocent, acting concerned as she patted his shoulder and whispered soothing words, but I knew Rudra better than that. He wasn’t buying it. He understood exactly what was happening.
“You son of a—” Rudra finally growled through the phone, his fists clenching. He slammed the phone down, but not before I caught the fury in his eyes. Perfect. Everything was going exactly as planned.
---
Rudra arrived at the courthouse minutes later, bursting in like a madman. He was wild with anger, eyes darting between Siya and me. “Siya, come with me. Now.”
But Siya shook her head, her face pale, her eyes hollow. “No, Rudra… I’m staying with Ehaan.”
I could see the hurt flash across Rudra’s face, but there was something deeper in his eyes. He wasn’t buying it. He could see the fear in Siya, the way her eyes silently pleaded for help, even as her words told him to leave.
Esha had arrived by then, standing quietly in the corner, watching everything with a small, satisfied smile. She had won—at least for now. Rudra’s world was collapsing, and she was enjoying every second of it.
But Rudra wasn’t done. He took a step toward Siya, his voice softer now, desperate. “Siya… you don’t have to do this. Come with me.”
Siya’s hands trembled, her eyes flickering between me and Rudra. She wanted to go with him, I could see it. But the secret I held over her head kept her rooted to the spot. She shook her head again, her voice barely a whisper. “I… I can’t.”
Rudra’s jaw clenched, and he turned to me, his eyes burning with rage. “You think this will end here, Ehaan? You think this is over?”
I smirked, shrugging. “It’s already over, Rudra. You’ve lost.”
He glanced back at Siya, and I could see the determination in his eyes. He wasn’t giving up. He wasn’t walking away. He was going to fight for her, no matter what.
And that… that was exactly what I wanted.
As we left the courthouse, I could still feel Rudra’s eyes on us, filled with fury and hurt. Siya walked beside me, silent and broken, but I knew she still longed for him. I had taken her, but her heart was still his.
And that would be Rudra’s downfall.
As for me? I’d savor every moment of it.
